17.01.2022 Each year one in seven Australians will experience symptoms of depression. Antidepressant medication is often used to treat the condition. However, research shows that exercise can be as effective as medication in people with mild to moderate depression. Chose an activity you like and can sustain over time. Start with five minutes a day and gradually increase to ten or twenty minutes. Studies suggest that exercising will benefit your mood within a few weeks!

08.01.2022 Here are some of our Valentine's Day craft activities. There's been a lot of pink, a lot of glitter, and a LOT of LOVE! Last week, the children had fun creating hearts which stated everything that they love! The younger toddlers decorated theirs with a glitter handprint! Here is a picture of our Valentine's display. Today, the children had a lot of fun with Satomi, making cards for Mummy and Daddy. Here are some photos of their beautiful work! Both activities exercised fine motor skills, along with the discussing of colours, textures, shapes, and feelings. Have a great week and keep checking our page for regular posts!

We will be featured on two of our local Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs). As a Donation Partner, we will receive donated refunds from people returning eligible containers. We also aim to raise awareness of our organisation and the services we offer our local community. DATES:... Monday 25 February to Sunday 26 May 2019 LOCATION OF THE RVMs: 1. Bondi Beach: Campbell Parade (at the back of the carpark behind Bondi Beach Pavilion) 2. Woolworths Westfield Bondi Junction: 500 Oxford St, Bondi Junction (in the Car Park Level P2, Eastern end, Woolworths side, under the ramp) HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SCHEME: Collect eligible containers and take them to the RVMs at either of the above locations. 06.01.2022 Today we decided to spice up our play-dough table using both natural and processed materials. At the cottage we love to change up our activities so we add different colouring and natural fragrances to our homemade dough. Our kids were eager to engage in this sensory activity-pushing the leaves and plastic insects into the dough- which made fabulous 'Fossil' imprints. Using fingers to manipulate the dough is such a fun way to improve our children's fine motor skills and this a...ctivity proved a hit with our pre-schoolers. For our painting session today we decided to combined dirt into paint for free exploration and see what interesting effects each child would have on the texture created.
