21.01.2022 Lets' re-imagine Bondi Pavilion's outdoor theatre/performance space. Mark Gould's speech to Waverley Council meeting last Tuesday evening. Council voted in favour of moving forward. Let's get this done.

17.01.2022 Last week Waverley Council voted 8-2 in favour of landscaping Bondi Pavilion's inner courtyards so we can retain our amphitheatre and have some plants/grass/soft surfaces. Now let's get this done!

17.01.2022 Last night Council voted in favour of exploring landscaping options for Bondi Pav's internal courtyards, so we can retain our outdoor performance spaces including a reimagined amphitheatre. There's more work to be done, but we're celebrating Council's willingness to listen to our community! This is one of the speeches we gave to Council.

09.01.2022 Friends of Bondi Pavilion campaigned hard to ensure our beloved Pav wasn't privatised, and we are completely opposed to any proposal that isolates any segment of our beach for a privileged few. We believe that all of Bondi Beach should remain a place where all people can go regardless of race, gender, financial status, body shape, religion, colour or profession. 02.01.2022 Waverley Council has developed heritage proposals to protect 59 individual buildings (including 10 more on Campbell Parade) and establish new heritage areas (2 in Bondi Beach). These are long-overdue proposals which are well defined, and which will help maintain the character of our beloved Bondi and community.
