16.01.2022 There have been some questions around the club about Wellington floorball open. Dates are as follows; The Auckland Floorball Open 2017 will be held at the YMCA North Shore on 10-11 June and the Wellington Floorball Open 2017 will be held at the ASB Sports Centre on 22-24 September.

Currently players Dan and Tom Gartner have helped the Aussies guarantee qualification and top spot in their group after only two games.

03.01.2022 Safety of our Floorball Family Always comes first! Dear Floorballers, in light of the ever increasing coronavirus risks and our moral and social obligation to p...revent the spread we, in conjunction with the Australian Floorball Association, have made the very difficult decision to postpone the Australian Floorball Open. As you can appreciate the situation is currently changing by the day, if not the hour, and who knows exactly what the future will bring. However there are policies enacted by the Australian Federal Government already in the form of compulsory self-isolation for 14-days for anyone entering the country that will impact some teams' ability to compete at the proposed April-May time slot. In addition to this, there are now rumors that the Federal Government will soon change the ban on social gatherings from a maximum of 500 people down to a maximum of 100 people, which will prevent AFO from being held until such time as the ban has been lifted. I understand the disappointment in postponing AFO, and to be perfectly honest there is no way of knowing if/when the country will once again be in a position to hold the tournament. But the health and safety of everyone is too important to gamble with. We urge everyone to remain vigilant and do everything in their power to look after yourselves, your friends, and your family, in what could turn into a very challenging time.

The second game v Newcastle/Beaches also ended in a 3-3 draw. ... Very consistent from the girls, and a great confidence builder to not have lost a game yet!
