19.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE It’s a tricky time to be a human and make decisions about what we do and how we do it. At this stage I have made a few adjustments to the way I practice KaHuna, and I will continue to practice until it appears I could risk my clients. I am in no high risk category, have no recent travel, and am physically well. We know the problem is that people can be carrying COVID-19 without symptoms however. I have moved my practice out of the shared office location I was... previously in, and have much more control about who enters my home treatment room. All surfaces are cleaned between every client. I change my clothes between every client and practice excellent personal hygiene. Each client has their own hand towel for the bathroom, and all washable items are removed immediately from the room and put straight into the washing machine or dishwasher. I will not be using vocal sounding directly on clients until further notice. I have also decided not to massage the face, but will keep doing beautiful neck work. Otherwise, you probably won’t notice much difference! Except the very strong smell of cleaning products! I’ll just keep doing extraordinary bodywork, easing my clients’ anxiety, until it feels like it’s not the right thing to do anymore. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask me. If you feel to cancel your appointment at the moment, then just let me know. It’s no problem. We all have to do what we feel is best. I hope that includes for all of us, taking care of those around us. Checking in on vulnerable people we might know well, or hardly at all. Mahalo and love from Jae at Bondi KaHuna.

16.01.2022 COVID-19 FURTHER UPDATE I have decided to suspend my practice for a couple of weeks and see where we are at, day by day. My psychology practice allows me to maintain a little bit more physical distance from clients, and to be honest, there’s so much anxiety about all of this, it’s important to me to stay healthy to hold people in that way. Thank you to all the clients who have supported me for ten plus years. I’m so grateful. I’ll keep you posted.

15.01.2022 Gosh it’s nice to feel things easing a little, isn’t it? I will be returning to massage in a very limited way, offering a few sessions on weekends to existing clients and those who have gift vouchers- by appointment only - no online booking. Please request an appointment via text or messenger. At this stage I will not be massaging Monday to Friday at all.

13.01.2022 You know, I felt like I was ready to start massaging again, but the invisible stress of this pandemic is feeling a little bit too heavy for me at the moment. My own system is overloaded and I’m still nursing it back to ease and a place from which I can give. I will prioritize gift vouchers when I start back up. Please message me if you have a voucher you’d like to use and we’ll work out a time - probably June.

13.01.2022 We are closing until it’s clear that I can keep my client me safe from risk.
