13.01.2022 Dear Bond Law Students, After extensive consideration, consultation and deliberation, the executive members of the Bond University Mooting Association ("BUMA") have determined that in order for our club to best serve the interests of the student community, it is essential that our club rebrand, refresh and redefine itself. After BUMA's establishment almost two years ago, the club, under the stewardship and vision of Khaled Wahab has grown to be one of the most respected and ...well-known clubs on campus. The clubs overarching mission has been to equip and inspire the advocates of tomorrow. In recent semesters, BUMA has provided students with the invaluable opportunity to listen to presentations by Saul Holt QC, Todd Fuller QC and Carl Heaton QC on how to be an effective advocate. Our executive is immensely proud of our efforts to provide Bondies with high caliber events that inspire our audiences to become future advocates. It is this ambition of bridging the gap between pupil and practitioner that has driven us to hold fantastic events in the past, and it is this theme of bridging the divide between law school and the legal profession that will form the foundations of our new club - Bond LawLink. The mission of LawLink is simple, to link you the law student to the legal profession. To achieve this, we will be running guest presentations, workshops, and events that will give you experience and skills that are indispensable in the legal profession. This rebrand allows our club to not just cater to aspiring advocates, but the broader cohort of law students. What will remain unchanged is our clubs standard of excellence, drive, and motivation. Yours Faithfully
