25.01.2022 CALLING ALL MOOTERS The Pro Justitia Moot Competition 2020 is being held in Week 4 of this semester and we are inviting all students, new and continuing, to sign up and get involved! Preliminary rounds will be run both on campus and online so all students enrolled this semester are welcome to participate! ... This is the perfect moot for students who are new to Mooting, and also students who have mooted before and are keen to be involved in another competition. This is an in-house competition, open to Bond Law students who haven't competed in an external moot, so don’t be shy get involved! We want you to develop your oral advocacy skills in court! This is a great skill to have, and it will be helpful to you in your law degree. You will be given a moot problem that is a fictional legal case (based on a real case). You will receive the written submissions prepared for the two parties who will appear in court, together with a fact summary of the matter. The legal issues are identified and discussed in the legal submissions. All you need to do is get on top of the facts and the law, work out which oral arguments you will present in court, and get going! Sign up with a team mate sign up sheets are electronic via this link: https://bit.ly/35WaE4r Read through the rules (attached to this email) and go to the iLearn ‘Mooting at Bond’ community site, follow the link to Pro Justitia Moot Competition 2020 and have a look at the materials available.
