04.01.2022 Walking tours resume and local attractions open for longer Free guided walking tours of #Maryborough resume today for the first time since March while ...local tourist attractions the Bond Store Maryborough and The Story Bank Maryborough are now open seven days a week again. The free guided walking tours resume today and are held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays departing from Maryborough City Hall at 9am. Numbers are limited to six people per tour with visitors encouraged to wear enclosed shoes and comfortable clothing, and to bring a water bottle, sunscreen and a sun smart hat. Bookings are essential via the Maryborough Visitor Information Centre at City Hall on 1800 214 789.

02.01.2022 2020 has been one of many changes. Maryborough Open House was delivered online as a series of insightful videos and Maryborough Open Gardens blossomed (pardon t...he pun) into its own standalone event. Going forward Open House will not take place as a full day event, but rather will move to become a part of the Australian Heritage Festival and will see a program of talks, tours, exhibitions and special events in May 2021. Maryborough Open Gardens will return bigger and better in 2021. Shortly, this Facebook page will become the official page for Maryborough Open Gardens and will be the perfect place to keep up to date on details for the event in 2021 and beyond.
