21.01.2022 Hey everyone! So we are all beyond excited to announce our new logo. It is vibrant, it is beautiful and it is unique. 19.01.2022 ***IMPORTANT NOTICE*** Morning to our fellow islander family! For most Bondies back on campus, you might be aware that Club Sign On Day is tomorrow. So before you go looking for the table with the colorful decor and loud music, just making a public announcement that BUPISA will not be hosting any events this semester. Last semester we made the decision to put BUPISA on hold as a few of our Executive members are nearing the end of their degree and wanted some time to focus on ...their studies and plans for after uni. BUT do not worry, BUPISA is not gone forever! This is a temporary hiatus, and we hope whether its our old friendly faces or some new ones, that BUPISA will return to share the island community at Bond some love and good food! Love from the BUPISA Exec Team xx

15.01.2022 Hello to all our BUPISA Family! As most of you know last week was International Week and we were excited to host our first ever Papua New Guinean Cultural Dances! On Tuesday of Week 8 we had five lovely ladies from Brisbane, including our very own Treasurer Skye Ampa'oi Imaka, perform traditional dances from the provinces of New Ireland and the Autonomous Region of Bougainville. While we regret to say that we didn't get the best videos from that night, due to bad lighting and... just sad camera quality, the pics below show their dance attires and some lucky fans who were able to take some pictures with the girls after the performance. A big thank you to all the students who despite having assignment deadlines and hungry stomachs, were able to sit through the performances and enjoy some classic PNG tunes. That night was a complete success for BUPISA and we are happy to say that it was worth all the stress and organizing! Following that event, we had the Global Food Festival on the Wednesday. Unfortunately we arrived late, because cooking our Chop Suey took longer than expected but that actually worked in our favor. Most of the students that weren't able to grab a plate of food before everything ran out were fortunate enough to catch us when we arrived. Then in true GFF fashion, the food was gone before you could say "International Week". Given the rush and time restrain on the day, we weren't able to take a lot of pictures. Regardless, everyone got the chance to taste a bit of some island-style cooking and enjoy some fresh fruits! So overall, Bond International Week for BUPISA was a success and definitely one of our better performances as a cultural club. Once again, thank you to everyone who supported us and were there to experience everything we had planned out. We love you long time! BUPISA Execs xx P.S Excuse Courtney's face in the last pic, trying to hold a conversation while serving food is not as easy as it seems

06.01.2022 Gutpla Morning Olgeta! Good Morning Everyone! Happy Friday! Hope everyone's week is coming to a spectacular end as ours is. We at BUPISA, in conjunction with Bond Amnesty International, Bond University Red Cross Society and Bond University United Nations Student Association are proud to announce that we have concluded our fundraising and have sent all donations to Paul who is in Hela, Papua New Guinea right now! We would like to thank everyone for your contribution, whether b...ig and small, every cent (or toea in this case-PNG currency) is going towards the rebuilding of a community. In the mere 2 weeks of the campaign, particularly at a time when exams were right around the corner and assignment due dates were already at our doorsteps, we were able to rally together and get all you amazing people to help us fundraise $580! This converted to K1,400 in PNG Kina! Imagine what we could have done if we had the time! Regardless, it is a great effort and you all can be proud of the donations you so kindly gave. Be sure to keep an eye out for announcements on Paul's trip to Hela and how he delivered the items YOU paid for! Also a big thank you to Amanda Tauber of Bond Amnesty International for spearheading this fundraiser, you are truly a legend! From all of us here at BUPISA, thank you again to everyone who lent a hand throughout the fundraising weeks and to all who made a donation (Bondie and non-Bondie alike) love you longtime! xx P.S The images attached are of the cards we sold, our promotion poster and a thank you poster with some pics from the fundraising. Have a peep and throw a like in there too!

05.01.2022 Cheers to a successful Meet & Greet and an even more promising semester
