22.01.2022 As part of the current Victorian government restrictions, at a meeting held this week, the Boneo Market Committee have cancelled our July 18th and August 15th markets. At this time we are working towards possibly holding a modified market in September. This will be subject to any further Covid restrictions. 21.01.2022 So... this is me. I think it is so much more personal if you know the face behind a product. Especially when every item made is moulded and handled several time...s over in the making process. I know every corner and detail (& flaw) on each piece. Ive been making ceramics for about 18 months now and learnt so much and looking back on my first items I made - I have grown. I hope to continue to grow and learn. Working clay has taught me to be more patient and to accept imperfections. Not everything in this life is perfect. I am at heart a people person and although this isolation has made us stop, I think its not been all bad - given us time to stop and take stock of whats important. I look forward to getting back to markets and meeting people. I appreciate your kind comments and it delights me every time I sell a piece Ive made - mainly because it genuinely surprises me that people like what I make enough to buy, either for a gift for someone special or to have in their home/garden. Its confronting putting what you have made out into the public domain for people to scrutinise. Ive been so lucky to meet wonderful people with kind feedback.
