14.01.2022 Feeling a bit embarrassed for the GCCC at moment. Here we have a council that has done so much positive work to get people out and about, to live healthy lifest...yles with the "Active and Healthy" program and lots of other positive work for the betterment of the community, including Burleigh Bongos. Now we have a small group within the council trying to undo the positive vision that took so long to build and implement ... It is through arts and culture that we not only bring people together to celebrate life but we also become great examples of a strong vibrant community that gives hope for a bright future, a future where we celebrate all our differences through music and movement. Note: We are working on some legal ways to continue with the Burleigh Drumming and Fire Nights that thousands of people love and enjoy.
