09.01.2022 All roads lead to the Wagga Showgrounds during the weekend of October 24th & 25th 2015 running of the Bonnie and Clyde Rods, Rats & Rides Festival. Organisers of this Rockabilly Lifestyle Festival have scheduled a high-octane event and expect large crowds from across the country to come see the cars, bands and in fact all things from the Pre 1978 period are Welcome to attend including Hot Rods, Rat Rods, Kustoms, Old Skool Muscle Cars, Street Machines, Classics, Period Carava...ns, Bobbers, Choppers and anything else relating to this period is welcome to attend. Bonnie and Clyde Rods, Rats & Rides will be held annually at this location in and around the month of October over the next 5 years and will feature events such as Show N Shine, Krooze Track Trade Displays and everyone's favorite, Live Rockabilly, Rock and Blues music. Bands already booked include Orange based "The Bevil Drive preforming the hits from some of the worlds greats including the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and the like, One of Canberra's Best Rockabilly bands the "Crossbones", Cleveland Blues, coming all the way from Queensland Sunshine Coast ( one of the best that we have had the pleasure of watching) as well as one of the Best Elvis Presley Stage Shows that you will see this side of Graceland's by none other than Mr. Andrew Portelli. Andrew Portelli is a fantastic International renowned Elvis Tribute Artist. He has 21 years of experience & has played all over Australia. Internationally he has played in the US, UK & Malta. Andrew is a versatile vocalist who also performs memorable classics from such greats as: The Big "O" , The legendary Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, Neil Diamond, Grease, Bill Haley and not forgetting the King himself Elvis Presley!!! and many, many more. So with over 18 hours of period Music over the two days and with the Saturday Nights Elvis Presley and Rock N Roll floors Show this will be one to put in your must do events. A variety other entertainment is on offer with rides for the kids, merchandise and trade displays. The event will have alcohol area's and is Strictly NO BYO. The event will be fully and will be an affordable family day out.
