23.01.2022 It seems that when a celebrant gets engaged, the question on everyone’s lips is But who will you get to marry you? I was asked this question so many times, along with Can you marry yourself? But the truth is I knew who I wanted to be my celebrant before I met my husband.... I’ve been a celebrant since the end of 2015. I didn’t meet Joseph until 2017. Right at the beginning of my career I received a message of love and support and offer of friendship and guidance from the beautiful Merren from Cinta. Celebrate love. I knew from that moment Merren was special and that she felt as privileged by her ‘job’ as I do I mentioned in an earlier post that I believe strongly in symbolism. For reason and intention behind everything. So does Merren. When I suggested our mothers be the ones to warm our rings, when guests were invited to bring flowers to decorate our ceremony circle, when we both shared a favourite reading. Thank goodness Joe loved her just as much Merren truly brought our ceremony to life and allowed our guests to feel the magic too Thankyou Merren x

21.01.2022 Sneak peak! Christopher J. Videography and I met a few years ago working together at another wedding. He has the most incredible set up, and is easily one of the nicest guys I’ve met. We clicked instantly and I was so happy to have him there with his calming presence and kind words.... Christopher is another who fit right in with our friends and family, and I must say Joe (my husband ) is pretty stoked with the arial footage of his farm Thanks so much Christopher we can’t wait to see the rest of your work

20.01.2022 Another shout out to Bree at BB Luxe This beautiful, thoughtful soul even saved the seeds from my bouquet so that I can plant flowers in my garden

05.01.2022 Well, this made me tear up this morning. What a beautiful love

02.01.2022 We held our wedding at our farm and offered guests the opportunity to spend a night under the stars with us by bringing along a tent etc... Connor from the Don River Yurt Co. set us up this gorgeous 5m yurt complete with bunting, mats and an easel and chalk board. He even kindly put together our bed frame The clear dome at the top was perfect to see the stars

01.01.2022 Choosing a photographer is one of the most daunting parts of a wedding. Who do you trust to capture your day? Capture intimate moments and fit in with your friends and family? We chose Omar from BY THE WILDE ... My ‘hubby’ and I are not big on photos and all we really wanted was to focus our time on friends/family/each other, anything other than smiling at a camera feeling awkward. It wasn’t awkward with Omar. He fit right in and found a way to make us look and feel comfortable. Somehow he even managed to make us appear graceful when really we are a couple of spud farmers in fancy clothes Thanks Omar, we are excited to see more of our gallery in the coming weeks
