12.01.2022 When we think of yoga most of us think of a light form of exercise that we do once a week. Maybe if you have thought about the question or you have been doing yoga for a while you might answer a form of exercise with lots of breathing that end in a relaxation, But would you answer meditation? Concentration ? Or Social observations? In fact if I told you there were eight parts or limbs to yoga how many of them would you be able to name?

11.01.2022 Pregnancy and the middle of summer don’t mix. I know so far it’s been a mild summer to us non pregnant women but for a pregnant women even mild heat is full on. I once had a pre natal yoga student who spent a 40 degree day in her car (it was parked out side her house) with the air con on a book and her dog. She didn’t have aircon in her house.

And A heap of veins arteries and nerves. Feet are pretty amazing ..... and what do we do to thank them for being so amazing. We step on them we jump on them and we put them face down into the dirt Love your feet they are always with you, they carry you even when times are tough and most importantly they support you. 08.01.2022 How many hours of sleep did you get last night? I was teaching a Mum’s and Bub’s yoga class at a local community centre. After class the Mum’s were talking about babies sleeping ... or more to the point not sleeping. The office person (a male) walked into the room and decided it would be a good idea to weigh in.... He said You should get a good nights sleep when you are pregnant because it helps the baby in the uterus form good habits. If you have a lot of late nights or broken sleep, then, when the baby is born they will be a poor sleeper. He was punching way above his weight category ..... a brave but foolish man. See more
