25.01.2022 It was an absolutely beautiful day at @fat_pig_farm today. It was a real pleasure learning from Jo, Rohan and Sadie, and chatting about organic gardening, animal husbandry, regenerative agriculture, bees and hoes! Thanks for having us, and a huge thanks for inviting me to join you @naturallywellwithjo - best day Ive had in a long while. @ Glaziers Bay, Tasmania, Australia

25.01.2022 Could this be of benefit to your organisation?

24.01.2022 All set for a deep dive into sustainable business strategy and business re-start-up with a new client today! Coloured textas are a must... #nfp #forpurpose #startup #refresh #strategy #visualthinking #collaboration

24.01.2022 @brunyislandmarketgarden is doing bloody delicious bum nuts now too! I picked up a veggie box and eggs when I was on the island this week and have been feasting like a queen ever since. This has smoked salt on it and damn it was delicious!... #brunyisland #bumnuts #eggs #knowthyfarmer #farmgate #marketgarden #community

23.01.2022 My Reflecting Candle in a Can from my old stomping ground and sometimes clients @troublesmiths is just what I needed as day morphed into night this evening. They have 40% off candles at the moment. I stocked up on candles and beeswax wraps (the last batch from them lasted me a year of daily sanga wrapping!) And I grabbed a quick cuppa from next door at @capulusespresso while I was there. #socentau #socent #beeswaxwraps #handmade #tasmanianmade

22.01.2022 My very temporary workspace this afternoon while Im stranded between meetings... Thanks @before_creative for letting me stick around for a bit!

22.01.2022 Hi everyone! I have a big project winding up this week and so I have the very rare opportunity for one of you to join my list of clients who have me on retainer. This is a fabulous option if you have a lot of work to be done, but dont want the hassle of putting on an employee for a relatively short period of time. Its also fantastic for project management.... If you would like to discuss how a retainer works, flick me an email or a DM. Id love to welcome you to my client list! Until I fill this space I am also taking one-off bookings. Check out my website to see what options I have, or reach out and Ill give you a call.

22.01.2022 I bust my arse during the week to give myself space on the weekends for things like this: managing my serious seed collection (in my slippers or course), and planning for the fast approaching spring planting! Its a challenge because my hothouse doesnt get very warm in winter so I struggle to germinate, but I dont have any appropriate spaces indoors. In the past I have found that by the time the weather is conducive to germination outside I have missed a huge part of the s...eason. To top it off I have a resident rat which keeps nibbling the tops off my seedlings if they are outside! Im thinking a cold frame might be the answer... I hope you are getting out in nature this weekend, and making time for the things and the people you love. Business is no fun without balance.

22.01.2022 I am working on a new service offering. If you have worked with me in the past in a way where I have helped you to solve a problem, or to feel supported or listened to, I would greatly appreciate a few words from you to use in my marketing of this service for business owners, senior managers, and other working women. Feel free to send me a private message, email me at [email protected], or comment below if that is easiest for you.... Thanks in advance!

21.01.2022 Its launch day! What a delight to work with the Tasmania University Union - TUU and Before Creative on this one. A truly wonderful team effort - which is exactly what this Tasmanian institution deserves...

21.01.2022 Winding up a day of meetings with a spot of twitching! Im counting my feathered friends for my Backyard Biodiversity course - it is surprisingly chilly when you are sitting still... Im usually on the other side of the window you can see behind me overlooking the backyard, but I thought Id try birdwatching from outside today. However the clever little critters have scattered and are staying away. ... I may have to retire to the office again so they come back. So far Ive only seen 2 wood pigeons (they are a cute couple) and 2 Little Wattlebirds (they use the shoots on the tree to swing on).

20.01.2022 This afternoon's collateral audit meeting fuelled by Agent Cooper As a related aside, how did I get to 38 years of age before I watched Twin Peaks?!

19.01.2022 www.bonnietuttle.com.au I hope this tells you everything you need to know. Let me know if you break it! Many thanks to my pals who tested it for me and provided feedback.

19.01.2022 Tip 3 in my Tricks for Young Players series: Schedule your time. I block times out for tasks in my Google calendar. My calendar always looks full, but it means that if someone asks me to do something, I always know if I have space for it, and where that space is. That way I avoid letting people down by overcommitting myself.... I also use colour coding for different projects or clients, and I put my non-work commitments in there too. That way I can easily see if I'm working (or playing) too hard. I also helps to identify habits. For example, I always plan to work at night, but usually move that scheduled work to early mornings - I really should just plan for early mornings in the first instance! There are plenty of other scheduling tools you can use - I used a paper diary until about 3 years ago. Just find a method that works for you, and that you can take with you everywhere. So go forth and schedule your time - and don't forget breaks for water, stretching, and a little bit of sunshine if it is available to you. #entrylevel #advice #workhabits

18.01.2022 I have always adored libraries. I was incredibly fortunate to have been raised by a teacher with a particular passion for literacy. And so I was reading independently before I even started kindergarten. I will be eternally grateful for that fundamental privilege which, irrespective of the other privileges I experience, has given me so much opportunity. It is truly an emotional thing for me to think about - that here in Tasmania our functional literacy rates in the th adult ...population hover at around 50% (@pollymcgee - correct me if I’m wrong). Libraries for me are safe havens filled with opportunities, but having worked with young Tasmanians I know that isn’t the case for everyone. So it is with great reverence and gratitude that I spend time at my local library today, surrounded by words and knowledge that I am able to engage with If you have the privilege of literacy, maybe stop by your library sometime this week.

17.01.2022 Im sitting here about to drink my first wine in a long time, quietly squeezing in the last piece of work for the day before I watch @gardeningaustralia (a family tradition which work NEVER interrupts), and I am suddenly completely overwhelmed with gratitude. I have worked with (and am working with) such amazing people on this consultancy journey. I feel overjoyed that I have the opportunity to help people achieve whatever it is they want to. Every goal they kick goes on my ...scoreboard too, because Im completely invested in these people and these businesses. Through their amazing work I get the privilege of shaping our community for the better. Thank you. To all of you who have reached out to work with me, to those of you who have put your trust in me, and to those of you who sing my praises in your offices, your homes and your communities. Im bloody humbled and delighted that you have given me the opportunity to partner with you, and I love you all to bits (I promise I havent had a sip yet!) Happy Friday.

17.01.2022 If you know of someone who has had their employment affected by Covid-19 and they are looking for work, I have just worked on some new resources for Workskills to assist. There are tips on what is expected for resumes, how to prepare for a phone interview, and even how to address selection criteria. You can find it all here https://www.workskills.org.au/covid19-resources/... If you need some help rewriting and updating old fact sheets or brochures let me know. Ive been doing a lot of that lately and Im on a roll!

17.01.2022 Does your business operate in the City of Hobart? Check out these grants, and let me know if you need a quote for a Marketing Strategy. Marketing is a really broad discipline, so many of my services fit under that umbrella. I would love to help you reimagine your small business to succeed in the new world.... Flick me an email at [email protected] or fill out the contact form at www.bonnietuttle.com.au

16.01.2022 Makeup and a blazer for this mornings Skype consultation with the crew at the @tasmaniauniversityunion and @before_creative WHO EVEN AM I?! (Also, did anyone notice my fashion mullet situation of leggings and bare feet when I got up to grab coffee? #businessuptop #partyunderneath )... Exciting things to come for this historical union and its transformation... Stay tuned! #brand #values #website #yourtuu #projectmanagement

16.01.2022 Keen to get started on this one. Its a bit of a shift in direction for me, but it is the base text for one of the units I am studying (Discover Your Creative and Entrepreneurial Potential). I have already done a workshop on Design Thinking and I really appreciate the focus on understanding the problem before launching into solution-mode. Im a fixer and often jump to wanting to get things moving. I think this stems from my deep need for gold stars and pats on the back! ... Doing something is better than paralasis by analysis for sure, especially when you are under time pressure. But I could definitely stand to bring more of a curiousity mindset into my work. And the beauty of the design thinking model is that there isnt really an end-point (every project managers worst nightmare!) You can reach a point where you have a solution or an answer, but then its a Rinse and Repeat kinda process - ever evolving and (hopefully) improving! How about you? Do you apply design thinking to your work?

15.01.2022 Sometimes work is such a drag Heading to Bruny for a strategy overnighter for @naturallywellwithjo and @brunyislandmarketgarden

14.01.2022 Do you have a vision board? This is mine, and it sits in my office right next to my desk to remind me what its all for. Although vision/goals/dreams are never static, are they? Least of all for me. As an active learner who is curious about a whole bunch of stuff, Im always finding new paths I would like to explore and new skills to master. So over time this board will (and should) morph and change into something new.... There are some parallels with business. Youve gotta get it down on paper. Having a written plan (of some kind) is absolutely bloody essential if you want to succeed. BUT your plans (whatever they look like) should be flexible. It shouldnt take a pandemic or a personal tragedy to make you reflect, take stock, and look at your current plan with a critical eye. Im always here to help if its all in your head. You bring the dreams, Ill bring the craft box (or whiteboard, or laptop, or Play-Doh, or Lego, or whatever your preference is).

14.01.2022 Sadly I have been rejected for Afterpay because they do not at this time offer Afterpay for services like mine. This is a a real bummer, because I know Afterpay would make it much easier for you to access my services. However, Im still very open to payment plans via regular online payments. If this is something you are interested in, lets have a chat. I know what it is like to run a small business - invoices are always easier to manage in small chunks!... Send me a DM, email or call me. I have some time opening up in September and would love to get some new clients on board!

13.01.2022 I took a break from my regular Saturday programming (swimming lessons, coffee and hockey) to go to this Visual Notetaking course with Dinkylune and Julia Curtis today. Wow! I'm SO EXCITED to practice and build my skills in this space, and I think it will really help me hone my listening skills and ability to structure ideas into easily understandable summaries. I can already see how letting my childhood love of drawing and lettering back into my work will make it so much more... joyous. These skills will be so useful in conjunction with my Good Life Permaculture PDC and my Holistic Decision Making Course with Dan Palmer early next year too! Thank you, Kylie and Julia. I feel very optimistic about this!

10.01.2022 A dark and moody start to the @sprouttas Cross Pollinate conference today, with the wonderful Marcus Ragus talking us through the landscape design before heading down for a wander through the permaculture market garden. I was too busy eating and talking to take photos of dinner tonight, but it was divine.

10.01.2022 @digitaldandy had a lovely reminder today about good office set up and posture. Here is my set up. Its a manually adjustable sit/stand contraption which pops on top of your existing desk (mine is an epic tip shop find). The sit/stand bit is under $300 from @officeworks Worth every penny.

10.01.2022 Celebrating face to face meetings with a bold lip today! Hurrah for human interaction!

10.01.2022 Have you considered an energy audit or changes to become more energy efficient out of your reach financially? Check out these grants...

09.01.2022 This is my second tip for people who are at the beginning of their career. I posted the first one last week and will continue to pump them out in the hopes that these simple things might help someone to navigate the workplace more easily. TIP 2:... Use systems for your work. Save things in the same spots in the same way using the same naming conventions. It will help you to find things more easily which will reduce stress, and I promise one day it will get you out of being blamed for something! Being able to put your finger on something fast also demonstrates that you are organised and capable.

09.01.2022 Happy Friday everyone! This photo is of one of my purple cauliflower leaves. Beautiful, huh? For those of you who dont know, Im bat shit crazy when it comes to urban farming, gardening and self sustainability. Ive even enrolled in a Diploma of Sustainable Living at UTAS which starts very soon I would absolutely LOVE to work with you if you are also a fiend for gardening, growing food, permaculture or any other similar space.... I have limited availability for the second half of this calendar year, and Id like to fill it with work that truly makes me joyous. So if it sounds like we could be a match on values and subject matter, check out my website (link in the profile) and lets see if I can add value.

09.01.2022 Today is a good day. This afternoon I finished researching, writing, reviewing and re-writing a complete package of collateral for a local not for profit. There were 146 documents in total. ... Some needed creating from scratch, others just needed some tweaks or updates to make them more accessible and understandable. So if youve been wondering, "Does she write?" Yes, yes she does!

08.01.2022 What a week, folks! And its still not over... Smashed this LBC and a beetroot and goats cheese bagel at @audrey_rosnypark today to give me a little bump to finish strong. Happy Friday! Heres hoping the weather stays agreeable so I can fill my precious weekend with bushwalking and gardening!

08.01.2022 My Project Management training was through Institute of Project Management and I have honestly never experienced such great value professional learning. I use this training almost daily, in almost everything I do. I have also put staff through it with excellent results. I cant recommend it highly enough, so if you are hesitating, dont!

08.01.2022 I have focused on a more holistic approach to learning this year, so instead of enrolling in yet another marketing or leadership course, I completed an Intro to Landscape Design on Udemy, I have started my Diploma of Sustainable Living at UTAS, and I enrolled in this Permaculture Design Course with Good Life Permaculture. What are the benefits to my business? - These courses help me to become more innovative and break out of my stagnant thought patterns. The firing up of los...t parts of my brain is real! - They help me to look at my business and how I do business with others in the context of community and the world around me. - They give me new knowledge to help micro and small enterprises in many areas like Urban Farming, market gardening, social enterprise and sustainable service creation, for example. Although the learnings can be applied anywhere! - And most importantly, they bring me joy and motivation! If you feel a bit stuck in what you are doing for work, try to find some training in an area you really enjoy - even if there doesnt seem to be a direct link to your current career. Sometimes thats what self care looks like, and it can give you a real firecracker up the bum!

07.01.2022 Yesterday, I was lamenting the fact that a possum and/or rat had dessimated my veggie patch while I had my back turned. Today, Im harvesting enough salad greens to share with the neighbourhood. Nature teaches us so much about life and business: ... 1 - everything is temporary, 2 - effort matters, but you cant always control the outcome, and 3 - always keep your eyes peeled for dirty rats

07.01.2022 I found it pretty easy to remember my bay number this morning! Today I’m heading to @hamlet_hobart (my preferred meeting spot because: amazing food with local produce, killer coffee, great people, AND a social enterprise) to meet first with the incredible @katie_parrott to discuss the problems of fast fashion and access to clothing for fat folks, and then @lorynjanene to welcome her to Tassie and chat about all the good stuff she does! After that, I’m heading Eastside again... to talk about local economies with Clarence City Council. Then I’ll be collecting my little mate from school and heading home to cook dinner for friends using home grown ingredients from my patch, which we will share over beers (or for me, my non-alcoholic beer by @sobahbeverages) Happy Friday!

06.01.2022 I am VERY excited to share with you my new offering, built upon conversations with many Tasmanians in business: the Virtual Partner Program. Id love the opportunity to chat about it with you. https://www.bonnietuttle.com.au/virtual-partner-program... Tag your friends, partners, mothers, brothers - anyone who needs someone in their corner! #businesssupport #ivegotyourback #womeninbusiness #workwife

06.01.2022 This morning I was lucky enough to spend some time in @naturallywellwithjos yoga shala on her property, and wandering around @brunyislandmarketgarden (bonus of taste testing the super sweet sprouting broccoli). We spent the night last night drinking red, eating chocolate, and breaking through some pretty hefty barriers which have created a pathway for balance and growth for both of these incredible brands. Do you think I should make Sleepover strategy sessions a thing?!

05.01.2022 Nice day for meetings and working at my local cafe... Anyone recognise where I am from the view? #easternshore

04.01.2022 Prepping more coffee on top of my new @bigchopaus board, which I picked up from @missarthurhomegoods on the weekend. Work has really picked up, with some large projects getting to the pointy end! Much caffeine required...

03.01.2022 Ok - so I think it’s clear from the eleventy billion times I announce it that I’m feeling super uncomfortable in this video But you have to walk before you can run, and we can’t all be good at everything! Let me know if you have done something outside of your comfort zone this week, I’d love to hear about it. Also, I don’t often wear makeup but I had some meetings today so I thought it would be a good opportunity to whack on some slap! You can see I got a wee bit excited a...nd ventured into the dangerous zone of a cut crease on hooded lids. #practicebeforemastery #vloggingn00b

03.01.2022 Cant be bothered faffing about with quotes and scopes of work and all that? Yeah - me neither. It really can be a time consuming process, and for larger pieces of work it is a necessary evil... However, if you are the type of person who just wants to get shit done, and you can set aside a day for us to work together on whatever chunks of work you want to get knocked over, Im now giving you the opportunity to book me for the day. My day rates include a pre-session chat about... your objectives for the day, a full on frantic blood-sweat-and-tears 9-5 workday from me, and two follow up emails. These sessions really take it out of me, so at this stage Im only offering one a month. Payment by installments is available too, because I know what its like to have to find a chunk of cash - smaller amounts over time are far easier to manage when you are running a small biz. If you would like to have my undivided attention, thoughts and energy for a day, get in touch by DM or email (link in bio) and we can talk details.

02.01.2022 Can you spot me? Thanks Bank of us Tasmania for the opportunity to connect with the local community!

02.01.2022 Troublesmiths are continuing to deliver amazing outcomes for young people in the community. They are such an incredible bunch and Im thrilled to have them as clients. #stillintrouble #socentau #mediarelease

02.01.2022 I manage my work, study and family commitments by getting up early, making a coffee (shoutout to my @aeropress / @villinocoffee Synergy / @ashgrovecheese cream combo) and starting work. The family gradually wakes up around me, and my husband sorts the little one out for school as I continue to work in my PJs for a bit (very grateful that here in lutruwita / Tasmania we are no longer educating at home because of covid). I like this arrangement because it gives me some truly ...peaceful time to work uninterrupted, and Im very grateful to have a partner who actively parents our kids (as our partners all should do). Todays peaceful work morning is brought to you by the moon over timtumili minanya/ the river Derwent. #earlybird #workingwomen #parenting #workingmums #howdoesshedoit

01.01.2022 Ive been cooking up something special for those of you who need a little extra support in your business. Want to be one of the first to know about it? Jump into my DMs with your email address and Ill let you know when its ready to roll!
