14.01.2022 We Are Back Every week Dear Members We have managed to get approval to open so we will be back and running next Wednesday the 8 of April 2020. ... Social Distancing in place to now realise that we will need to step up measures to promote Social Distancing as well as monitor that everybody in Foodacare Bonnrigg. We now have a dedicated Social Distance Officer onsite to ensure we are aware of changes in Government Directives and that we are compliant with protecting members, staff, employees and our vulnerable community members. The role of our Social Distancing Officer is to ensure, but will not be limited to, the following; Correct 2 meter distances between people both inside and directly outside of the premise. All members and volunteers wear disposable gloves upon entry into the store (disposable gloves will be made available at the entry doors, members will be asked to remove and dispose of gloves when leaving) Only one family member is to the enter the site at one time That children do not enter Foodcare Bonnyrigg. That only three Foodcare members are in the shop at one time (this ensures that FCB team can also be present in the shopping area to stock shelves and serve members) We ask that members please abide by the protective measures we have had to initiate otherwise we will need to revisit future shopping hours. Please Note: Due to these measures we must remind members that they may experience a waiting period to be able to enter the shop. Thank you for understanding.

05.01.2022 Today Mayor of Fairfield Frank Carbone announced the City's leisure centres, Fairfield Youth and Community Centre, and Community Halls will be closed from 12.00pm today. This decision is in line with the NSW and federal governments, and NSW Health, to close all non-essential services to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus and protect the community's health and wellbeing. Members of leisure centres will have their membership frozen for the duration of the closure, and will be contacted by the leisure centres with more information.
