19.01.2022 The team at Bontech had a different type of install on a property in Mutarnee yesterday. The pump unit was to be floated and so were the solar panels, framing and control gear. After a challenging day combating the pesty March Flies, thick mud, wobbly surfaces and the potential of falling in the drink, the unit was pumping water 1km to the homestead beautifully by the time the job was done. Check out the old foot paddle boat, bought into use to get from the pontoon to shore!

They include a Pressure Switch for automatic on/off, Pressure Gauge for system monitoring, Gate Valve for system isolation and regulation and a tap to wash your solar panels!

06.01.2022 Bontech and BRT Transport and Contracting had a interesting job of installing these two solar pumps for the new Bat Park in Charters Towers. To prevent theft and damage from the public, the solar panels were installed on 8m high poles. This system consisted of a solar borer pump to provide water for the lined dam, and a floating dam pump to provide water for irrigation.

The project consisted of 12 individual pump systems, from ranging from 2.2kw pump units right up to a 7kw (that's 60 solar panels folks)
