13.01.2022 Hi All! Urgently looking for a SM for Cross Pollinate Productions upcoming season of Everybody by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins at the KXT, in Sydney, 6-21 March. Our ...SM had to go on to another touring gig and is no longer available so we're on the hunt to find someone to come on board ASAP. The play sees 5 of the actors (total cast of 9) receive their roles by lottery each night! Details are: -Profit share, using MEAA co-op contracts. Full budget provided for complete transparency. -This will be our 7th indie show in Sydney, having previously produced shows at the Old Fitz, KXT, Old 505 and ATYP. -Directed by Gabriel Fancourt -On at the Kings Cross Theatre (KXT) at the Kings Cross Hotel -Tech: 2-6th Mar -Previews: 6-10 Mar -Season 11-21 Mar -90mins no interval running time. -Rehearsals began this week, and are approx 2-3 weekday rehearsals + 1 weekend day. Rehearsing in Surry Hills, Harberfield and Leichardt. SM not required at all rehearsals and as it is a co-op we will work around your availability -Looking for an SM to manage the rehearsal schedule, and comfortable operating the show and working with QLAB as there will be some fun challenges that come with having different actors play different parts each night which will affect prerecorded cues, etc. -For more details and to express your interest in joining our awesome team please email your CV and any questions to [email protected]

CLOSE UP: Thomas De Angelis... ‘The House at Boundary Road Liverpool is a collaboratively devised play about Australia’s waves of post-war immigration. It’s a play about a house and its occupants through the years. Four acts and four playwrights telling the story of four families’. Thomas conceived of the idea for the show in 2017 and since then has thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with the three other writers, and more recently the creative team and ensemble. Thomas: This show ticks a lot of boxes for me. It brings together a lot of creatives, it’s collaborative and it’s uniquely Australian.
