25.01.2022 Community announcement: Are you an animal lover and want to try and help our wildlife after the fires. Then please join a local group set up to start the proces...s of helping the survivors: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1496924417152737/?ref=share There are areas around Coffs Harbour that need our help, eg the Mt Hyland National Park west of Dorrigo has had a staggering 10s of thousand of hectares burnt. Food for survivors, water stations, nesting boxes (ie homes) etc are needed. One of our vets has starting making nesting boxes out of old hardwood fence palings- she is aiming to make 100. This might sound like a drop in the ocean but collectively we can make a difference. So please join this local group and share this post- the more people that join to help our wildlife the better!
