23.01.2022 Craig and Meryl are ecologists who created Boobook Eco Tours 3-4 years ago, to supplement their work as ecological consultants in outback Queensland, about five... hours west of Brisbane. We’ve worked here for 25 years and we know of many areas that have not been explored, says Meryl, the private properties we work on, no other scientists have visited some of these areas. Craig, who has a particular fascinating for Australia’s incredibly diverse land-snails, tells us about their Ecoscience Expeditions, where they visit an area unexplored. They have one site in the upper Dawson River, part of the Great Barrier Reef catchment, where guests have spent days documenting wildlife. Information gets added to the Atlas of Living Australia. the landowner has already made some changes to his livestock management Craig says, our guests discover new things every time and this helps go towards conservation efforts. However The heritage listed courthouse that is still ...viable today was established in 1901. . Readford pulled off an elaborate cattle heist by stealing 1,000 head of cattle from Bowen Downs Station blazing a trail down the South Australia. Through the inhospitable Strzelecki Desert, which was considered a remarkable achievement, making Readford become legend. .
