19.01.2022 One of the highlights of our annual changeover evening is the announcement of the recipient of the The Don Robinson Memorial President’s Award, recognising outs...tanding ‘Service Above Self’. The award, named after the late Don Robinson, our 1997-1998 President, is the most significant award the Rotary Club of Ballarat East can bestow on one of its own members. This year, President Emma awarded the Don Robinson to Past President Bob Ford. A member since 1986, President in 2009-2010 and recognised as a Paul Harris Fellow in 2011 and in Emma’s words ‘I admire Bob for his steadfast loyalty to the Club. He doesn’t sit in the limelight often, instead he is just happy to work quietly in the background, contributing many volunteer hours to all of our projects.’ Well done Bob Ford!
