The second in the Bush Mob series written and illustrated by the amazing Dr Helen Milroy and published by @magabalabooks. This time the mob come together to help Lofty the Emu win the big race. They come together and teach him to fly. But it's one animal's ingenuity that helps Lofty really soar above the others. ... If you're looking for a story about respect, teamwork, courage and perseverance - this is it!! As Lofty says the most important thing is "being kind, helpful and good to everyone. Doing the best you can and learning from others could lead to great things". Dr Milroy is a descendant of the Palkyu people from the Pilbara region of WA. She is a professor in child and adolescent psychiatry at @universitywa and a Commissioner at the National Mental Health Commission and a Commissioner on the @afl.
