08.01.2022 With the Pitts Regulator out of the way, the Bookmark Creek Action Group, Renmark Paringa Landcare and Natural Resources SA Murray-Darling Basin are getting rea...dy to revegetate the site. The regulator was identified as a potential safety risk to the public, as well as a barrier to flow through Bookmark Creek, and was removed in July. A working bee will be held on Saturday 20 October from 9:00am to reinstate vegetation in this section which can be accessed by Twentysixth Street, Renmark. Stay tuned for a new aerial photograph! 05.01.2022 Some photos from our History Festival Event on Saturday 4th May at Olivewood. It turned out a very successful event with a good crowd and interesting and informative speakers; followed by a light lunch. It was enjoyed by all who attended, and we received very positive feed back regarding the event and work being done on the creek. We also had a couple attending put their names on our email list with the intention of becoming involved as volunteers. #historymonth #olivewood #bookmarkcreek #RIT #renmark #volunteers
