24.01.2022 A recent request for a school in Rambutso Island was accompanied by these photos. It is not uncommon that schools who seek our help have existing libraries but with empty shelves awaiting books. As we complete our last deliveries for the year, we ask that if you have childrens books you no longer need then please consider donating them to our cause. We are more than happy to collect large amounts (six boxes or more) from anywhere within South-east Queensland, or you can drop off to any of our locations listed on our website here: https://www.books4pngkids.org/

07.01.2022 What a proud moment! We have been in contact with Barbara Schroder for a while now as she proposed and executed plans for a library in a church hall in East New Britain. 06.01.2022 Here are the students from Paundaka Primary enjoying their new books, thanks to Eric Yawas. Paundaka Primary sits within the Margarima District, a place that is not so easy to get to. Located far from the coasts of PNG, our hard-working contacts travel inland to remote schools where there is often no proper road or thoroughfare to guide them.

06.01.2022 A big thank you to Leah Willie for helping get our books to schools in Bulolo. The district is situated in Morobe Province and is a great distance from any of PNG's ports. We appreciate Leah's efforts in collecting the books once they arrived and transporting them all the way to the well-deserving students in Bulolo.

01.01.2022 Today's photos are courtesy of Jonah Linus who has recently delivered fifty cartons of books to Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School. This particular school is located in the Maprik District of the East Sepik Province, making it an incredibly remote location to reach. Maprik is approximately two and a half hour's drive from the province's capital, Wewak.

01.01.2022 Here are members of the Hela Rural Development Foundation unloading boxes of books we recently donated. Eric and team are always a reliable lifeline to the more remote communities in PNG and their assistance is invaluable. Hela Rural Development Foundation Inc
