11.01.2022 Congratulations to local author, Mirandi Riwoe who, just last night, won the inaugural ARA Historical Novel Prize for her book Stone Sky Gold Mountain. This is the second award this fantastic book has picked up since it was published earlier this year, and surely won't be the last. In September, Mirandi also won the Queensland Literary Award for Fiction. Mirandi appeared in The Australian today discussing this incredible win, which comes with prize money of $50,000, making it one of Australia's most financially lucrative awards.
