25.01.2022 From the picture I assumed that this might be about the (sometimes!) heartbreaking decision to pass your stash on when you realise that your last child has grown out of your beloved cloth nappies. Its not, but I decided to share it anyway because as a mum I know that annoying inner voice that tells me what I SHOULD be doing, whilst raising three kids 5 years and under, often spoils all my fun. Heres to a guilt free weekend mums where we can all be a little kinder, forgiving and nicer to ourselves- I know I need one! Enjoy xo

Today I hope to remember you are more than your achievements, more that your academic performance, and more than your behavior. Today I hope to catch a glimpse of you that suddenly reminds me how much of an extraordinary miracle you are. Today I hope you go to bed knowing life is better because of you. Today I hope you fall asleep feeling loved right now, today, just as you are. In our fast-paced, task-driven, achievement-oriented world, its easy to forget about taking one day at a time. Im guilty of letting future events matter more than what really matters now. Today matters. Today is all we really have for sure. So let today be a day we can look back on, whether in tragedy or joy, and say today was not perfect, but it was memorable. Why? Because I encouraged. I smiled. I listened. I apologized. I waited. 15.01.2022 We recently celebrated our little girls first birthday who happens to LOVE watermelon. Many thanks to my husband and dear friends for their help and inspiration in the construction of her cake. I can highly recommend making one if you too have a summer baby (or happen to be one yourself!). Yummo!

14.01.2022 I see so many small business pages that say theyre struggling because of the changes facebook has made regarding who sees your posts, so I thought Id write a post about how I think facebook now works. It seems to me that a written post gets potentially seen by 3 or 4 times more people than a photo or a link and if you are sharing your own pictures or posts you might as well not bother as theyre seen by so few. The more people who comment or click "like" on your post the mo...re facebook will allow it to appear in different newsfeeds. So the answer is, if youre reading this, click "like" or comment on anything and everything that catches your eye and help all us small businesses survive or one day youll go looking for your favourite business page only to find theyve given up because you didnt bother to like or to comment on their photos or posts. Life has become so busy with my third going to Kindy this year, visitors, cooking and keeping on top of housework, sports and social commitments, then work. 12.01.2022 No $20 Tuesday this week sorry! I have been home with four kids today and it hasnt happened. Our children have light colds, yet they still had plenty of energy. It was nice to have a quiet day together, I cannot wait until school holidays begin here in WA next week!!! Sweet dreams everyone. xo

02.01.2022 Do you know any new mothers? I love this list! After I had my third child I know I didnt need anymore soft toys for bubs but felt so grateful to those in the first few weeks who dropped off meals when I didnt have the time or energy to cook and to those who entertained my older children when I felt like I was neglecting them. What did you appreciate the most?
