25.01.2022 Monday 14th is our next workshop. Tuncurry Memorial Hall. 9.30 -12.30 ....byo cup...come when you can leave when you have to. Great friends, fun and creativity. We welcome new comers. This Monday we start on our new project...Library bags for Forster Primary Schools Kindergarten enrolments for 2011.

19.01.2022 This MEMORY came up on my personal Facebook page today....September 23rd 2017. Our beginnings....Before we were Boomerang Bags Forster Tuncurry. No Facebook page of our own...nowhere to hold workshops or storage. Did what could with what we had and were so appreciative any assistance given to get established. Go forward 3 years...we are a group of 15. We have a lovely place to hold our fortnightly workshops Tuncurry WW1 Memorial Hall. We have beautiful fabrics and very creative enthusiastic sewers. We have donated $ in the four figures as a helping hand here in our community...all made by the sale of our shopping totes, masks, water bottle bags, golf bags and library bags. We are working on some great ideas for xmas gifts so keep a look out!

18.01.2022 A big morning sorting and coordinating..... caught here with an odd expression...not sure why because I was totally delighted & greatful with all the efforts of this amazing group of woman today...eleven of us there today ...thanx to everyone ...looking forward to our next workshop 28th September 9.30 - 12.30 ...we are making 100 library bags and donating to Forster Primary School.

All our usual more discreet designs available as always Some designs have the pocket if you wish to add a 3rd layer. Always wash before wear and wash after every 4 hours of wearing in hot soapy water.

Their stock of products, souvenirs and momentos from this wonderful part of the east coast is gr8! Our bags are beaut for the beach or shopping in any of our many local stores, and all profits from our bags go back into our community! Grown local, produced local, made local...support local !

13.01.2022 Now that we have supplied several hundred fabric face masks we are now concentrating on more bags! Saying no to plastic bags for shopping helps our environment....and a gr8 mothers day gift! All proceeds from our sales go back into our community.

05.01.2022 WANTED....we are looking for tall cupboards/wardrobes for storage in our space in the Tuncurry Memorial Hall. I will post exact measurements but approx 2 to 2.5 metres wide and TALL. We are looking for a modern look. White, grey or a surface that can be painted. This Supper Room is a great room that has the potential of many to hire and we wish to enhance its appearance.

04.01.2022 Xmas is just around the corner....so we will be at the Forster Farmers Market this Saturday 21st November. Little Street Forster (outside the Visitors Information Centre) 8am - 12 Something for everyone! "ALL PROCEEDS" from the day will be going to assist the "Riding For the Disabled NSW Manning Great Lakes Centre.....Covid put fund-raising on hold for so many, but Covid didn't stop the bills from mounting....buy a gift from us for your friends and family knowing you are also giving a gift to a worthy cause.....

04.01.2022 Thanks to Focus for helping spread the word. I have posted the article as best I can here on our page. My heartfelt thanks to a group of women that get in and work on every project with enthusiasm and a smile. With restrictions lifting I will do a daily post on our bags. The first post now will have photos of most of the group that got in a made the fabric face masks when the nasty Covid 19 first struck. 03.01.2022 As co-ordinator of this group of wonderful volunteers I am so happy to tell all that we have made and supplied fabric face masks to the RFS Brigades around the Mid North Coast that were very short of face masks after the devastating bush fires. Whilst many have been looking for things to do during Covid19 we have used the time constructively.

02.01.2022 Good morning & Good news. Our group has supplied 4 Rural Fire Brigades with 42 face masks for their tankers. Being at home can still connect you to your local community. Great work ladies and each Brigade sends thanks for your efforts.
