When you submit your registration, can you please add a little information about the time your spent with BASi. 25.01.2022 Have you seen the current exhibition on at our gallery? Our beautiful Scenic Rim has been captured by the artist's brush. From 12th February through to 21st March Escape Artists are exhibiting "Impressions of the Scenic Rim". The gallery is open from Wed through to Sunday from 1Oam until 4pm.... Entry is free. See more

After our precautionary temporary break, we look forward to seeing you all once again at our pre planned exhibitions, events and workshops. ... 19.01.2022 The BASi committee are pleased to announce the safe re-opening of Boonah Regional Art Gallery. The exhibition by Charles Morgan - "Paintings from Far North and Beyond" officially opened to the public today Wednesday 19th August and will continue until Saturday 19th September. Please be advised gallery conditions have slightly changed with no more than 20 allowed in the gallery at one time, we also have all the safety precautions in place as required by Scenic Rim Regional Co...uncil, please don't be offended when asked for your contact details by our volunteers. Please enjoy this exhibition and our different atmosphere.

17.01.2022 It is with great pleasure we open a new exhibition to the public today..... "Endangered" with Nika Norman + 3 (Sharon Frost, Sharon Wallace and Laurie McLeod) Collectively this group of talented Women have created an Exhibition with all works drawing attention to Endangered Fauna and Environs.... This exhibition will run from 23 September, to 24th October.

11.01.2022 The annual Boonah Christmas street parade will be held next Thursday evening 19/12/19 and the Gallery will be open with some "pop up" artist stalls out the front. The Gallery has a great range of gifts and is a good place to do your Christmas shopping.

This exhibition officially opened to the public in our Gallery on Wednesday 19th August and will continue until Saturday 19th September. 10.01.2022 Due to current COVID-19 lockdown notificatiins from the Qld Govt, our Gallery will be closed to visitors until Wed 20th January. 06.01.2022 Calling All Young Artists Fire in Our Community Art Workshops for ALL young Artists presented by... BASi Boonah Arts Society Inc. The Boonah Arts Society Inc. will be holding several FREE workshops for ALL young artists in our community who are interested in creating artwork and potentially to become part of the BASi Members & Junior Members exhibition in December 2020 The workshops will take place during the September school holiday. Junior Grade 2 8 and Senior Years 9 12 students are invited to participate. Unfortunately due to the COVID19 regulations, each workshop will be limited to a maximum of 7 participants per session. Interested Young Artists will be required to register their name with the BASI secretary by email [email protected] or phone Robyn - 0409 050 854 or the Barry - BASI President on 0400 010 503 if you intend to participate. The proposed dates are Tues 22nd, Mon 28th & Tues 29th September 2020.

06.01.2022 Competition Time Children's Mothers Day Colouring Comp Age group categories and prizes are:... 13 to 17 yrs old....... art supplies to the value of $30 7 to 12 yrs old......... art supplies to the value of $25 6 to 4 years old...... art supplies to the value of $20 with one overall encouragement to the value of $25 Details of where to enter, are on the Entry forms with the images. All you need to do is download and print the image and form, for your youngsters age category and let their creativity do the rest. Entries close Friday 15th May. Enjoy
