23.01.2022 V preparing his Etudes for his very first audition/performance. At 5 years old, he was the youngest participant.

21.01.2022 Musical threads in the life of a former student: An alumna of MIT and a Graduate Fellow at Stanford University, LH has in between her accomplished engineering work and research (which spanned 3 continents) weaved in active threads of musical activity throughout - notably completing a Bachelors of Music in Rotterdam (during her 1 gap year from work), winning the MIT concerto competition and performing in recitals to fund projects for Engineers Without Borders Malaysia (where she was the Founding President). She plays with her piano trio in San Francisco and is currently rehearsing for upcoming performances. Good to have her visit the studio during her travels to Melbourne.

Currently starting rehearsals with his piano trio for the first performance of his composition Waking Waves.

MG is patiently waiting for the restrictions to be eased in order to relocate to the UK to begin her Masters of Music Composition at the University of Manchester.

JY went on to complete her legal qualifications and launched herself into a career as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of Victoria. Her playing of the Gluck-Sgambati Melodie is sounding particularly poignant at this point of her life.
