12.01.2022 Update 25/2 Sad to report that despite searching & looking everywhere for Hugh we haven’t seen him for a couple of weeks now! We haven’t given up on finding him!!!!! Louis & I sit at his usual place every night hoping he will come out & I can give him the medication he needs! Thankyou for your continuing support & kindness everyone! Farm life can be hard when you see our local native wildlife suffering! We are currently treating this beautiful little soul for mange & wh...at appears to be another wombat attack! It’s hard watching him/her scratch till s/he bleeds but we are doing all we can to help him/her get better! We get different wombats coming to stay under our house & have treated a few already successfully but this one is in the worst condition so far! They are all affectionately known as Hugh (I’m still learning how to tell if it’s male or female) but what I do know is we will do all we can to help & hopefully make him/her better! Many thanks & a BIG SHOUTOUT to the Wombat Mange Management team for your advice, support & followups! 01.01.2022 We love picking our homegrown, pesticide free fruit & veggies!!! The zucchini is usually not this big, it’s huge! Plenty of plums, lemons, oranges, figs, pears, mandarins, apples, blackberries, tomatoes, capsicum, chillies, beetroot, corn, pumpkin & cucumbers to name a few that are ready or nearly ready!!!
