24.01.2022 The Local Health Advisory Committee has been successful, with assistance from various members of the Murrumbidgee Health Group in securing the Mobile Covid-19 Unit. This unit will be here this coming Monday 18th May up at the Boorowa Hospital. All Boorowa residents are encouraged to come along and get tested. If you have any of these symptoms, please don't wait until Monday, get yourself up to the Hospital asap. The Mobile Unit will be at the Boorowa Hospital between 9.45am and 11.30am. Can all my friends within Boorowa please spread the news of the visiting Covid-19 Unit and encourage as many as possible to get tested. Also we shall have LHAC representatives at the Mobile Unit to help community members download the Covid-19 app on to their mobile phone, should they wish to do so.

20.01.2022 Hello all. Just a quick note to let you know that the shop will be closed until mid February. We are having a short break which will give us time to make more and different products for the shop. We will still be in town so we can be contacted via this page if anyone requires something. 18.01.2022 Just finished these items. A 3 tier, hall table book shelf unit 900 high , 400 deep, 1100 long and a bar table which is 1230mm long, 400mm deep and 900mm high. Currently both are raw.

18.01.2022 These steel wheels are located in Cowra. 2 are 1.3m metres in diameter and 2 are 1.1m in Diameter. Extremely heavy. The large ones are for sale at $450 each and the smaller wheels are $250 each. They will only be sold as pairs. So its the big set or the smaller set. $1200 if you want the lot.

17.01.2022 Although the shop is closed until we are past this terrible virus, I am still making orders and delivering. Our latest item is Cube boxes. We have a range of different colours of boxes to fit into the cube crates, which I make. (the cube crates that is.)

16.01.2022 We have a few new items for sale in the shop tomorrow and over the weekend. A pair of log dogs, coal shovel off a train, a very old chest and a cupboard with a place for a chamber pot or wash basin. Come in and have a chat with Karen.

15.01.2022 Hi all, we are having a 30% sale on some of Daniels hand made cushions at the shop this weekend, so call in and grab a bargain. Daniel has also just finished a retro chair which is for sale.

15.01.2022 Bar table with stainless steel bowl for ice to keep the beer and the wine cool in summer. The table is approx 1.1m long x approx 780mm deep and 900mm high, Stained in external stain and varnish. Charcoal in colour. Only one available in the shop from tomorrow morning. Open Friday to Sunday 9 till 4.

13.01.2022 The Boorowa Business Chamber is holding it's regular meeting and AGM on Monday 6th July at 7.00pm at the Boorowa Hotel/Top Pub. All Business Chamber members and members of the community are invited. It would be appreciated if as many as possible Boorowa Business Chamber members can attend and members of the community, so we can gather concerns of business owners and those of the community to focus on during the coming year.

10.01.2022 The Mobile Covid-19 Test Clinic will be in Boorowa at the Hospital between 9.45am and 11.00 on Wednesday 15 July 2020. If you have any symptoms, please get tested. These include runny nose, fever, dry cough, sore throat stuffy nose or shortness of breath. You can make a booking by calling 1800831099 or just turn up at the hospital on Wednesday. Remember you will have to self isolate until you receive the results which should be available with 24-48 hours. Thanks

09.01.2022 Karen has decided that it is back to business for Brae Neuk Pallet Furniture. Karen will re-open the shop on Friday 29th May. Our usual business hours will apply. To stay safe Karen would like all customers to use the hand sanitisers at the door prior to coming in and she will have a limit of 4 customers at any one time. So come on in and see Karen's art work and gifts as well as the pallet furniture as well. It's great to be back operating as usual. See you all soon.

07.01.2022 I brought these vintage cast iron lace segments/pieces back from Tasmania a few years back. We shall have them in the shop from tomorrow for sale. There are 12 pieces of straight lace and two ends.

06.01.2022 Karen will have the shop open from tomorrow until and including Monday because of the long weekend. We have a number of new items for sale. The wood box was made this week. It is sanded, on castors, 950mm wide x 650mm deep and 650mm high. It is a nice size box for wood or anything else you may like. Cost $200. It shall be at the shop from tomorrow morning. I also make other boxes at various sizes made to order.

05.01.2022 Friday the 12th February is our reopening day after an extended break. We have a range of new things as well as old. Karen has some great new paintings for sale, so come on in and have a wee look.

02.01.2022 On Monday 22nd February 2021, the Boorowa Business Chamber (BBC), shall be holding a General meeting inviting all Business Owners and members of the community. Our guest Speaker will be the Right Honourable Wendy Tuckerman MP. Our focus with Wendy will be the Hilltops Council issues, as well as some state government issues. Hopefully we will have a great turn out. The meeting shall be at the Ex-Service Club. 7.00PM
