Back to our new re...stricted normal .....day by day it got easier and we all made ....1 year on ....CHEERS to all the hospitality workers and small business owners and our teachers we did it ....a MASSIVE thank you to our staff you all did everything that was asked of you with out hesitation and with a smile on your face you made life so much easier, I will be forever grateful to you all ....... and to all the beautiful people who continued to support us through it all without you doors would have never reopened ... thank you xx See more

18.01.2022 T'was a week before Christmas, And all through the town, People wore masks, That covered their frown. The frown had begun... Way back in the Spring, When a global pandemic Changed everything. They called it corona, But unlike the beer, It didn’t bring good times, It didn’t bring cheer. Airplanes were grounded, Travel was banned. Borders were closed Across air, sea and land. As the world entered lockdown To flatten the curve, The economy halted, And folks lost their nerve. From March to July We rode the first wave, People stayed home, They tried to behave. When summer emerged The lockdown was lifted. But away from caution, Many folks drifted. Now it’s December And cases are spiking, Wave two has arrived, Much to our disliking. It’s true that this year Has had sadness a plenty, We’ll never forget The year 2020. And just ‘round the corner - The holiday season, But why be merry? Is there even one reason? To decorate the house And put up the tree, Who will see it, No one but me. But outside my window The rain gently falls, And I think to myself, Let’s deck the halls! So, I gather the ribbon, The garland and bows, As I play those old carols, My happiness grows. Christmas is not cancelled And neither is hope. If we lean on each other, I know we can cope See more

10.01.2022 Earlier this year I was delighted to visit Sharon at the Boorowa Recreation Golf & Bowling Club to announce $100,431 in funding from the NSW Government's Strong...er Country Community Fund. This funding will allow the club to begin construction of a new miniature golf course. The project will be completed by Mini Golf Australia with assistance from Club volunteers who will contribute to the construction of the boundary/security fence as well as landscaping throughout the course area. This new infrastructure would benefit almost everyone in the community - mini golf is a sport that can be played by everyone with any ability.
