21.01.2022 We're back! For the last 5 years we've been using a private page as the congregation's Facebook page and have let this public page go quiet. As we are now engaging with more enquires from outside of Boort, we are reactivating this page. The purpose of this page is to communicate information about the Church that we think is relevant to those who are not a part of our congregation. All information relevant to those in our congregation will continue to be posted on our private page.

08.01.2022 Youth Internships in 2014. Boort Baptist Church is pleased to announce that we are offering Youth Internships in 2014. Interns will work at Boort Baptist for 2 days a week giving support to our Youth work. These Internships will be offered in partnership with the "Praxis" Youth Work Training School (see praxis.org.au). The Interns will be studying a "Diploma of Youth Work" while working at Boort Baptist to gain experience. This Diploma is government approved so Austudy and F...eeHelp is available. There is no cost to the Church, but we may need to help the Interns find accommodation if they decide to move to Boort. We are trialling this for an initial 12 month period and we will review it at the end of the 2014. Amanda Parker has offered her time and expertise to the Church on a voluntary basis to oversee the work of the Interns for 2 days a week. We thank Amanda for her commitment. We see great opportunity and the potential for great blessing by having skilled Young Adults come and be a part of our Church and work with the Youth in our town.

02.01.2022 A reminder that Ros & John Patterson from "Children for Christ" are running a Children's Holiday Program this Thursday and Friday (27-28 Sept) 9:30 - 12:00 for Prep to Grade 6 at Boort Baptist Hall. Cost is $3.
