16.01.2022 #31 Boosey Creek Tavern, Katamatite Icons of katamatite could be listed as followed; the boosey creek, the katamatite football oval, the big fuck off church lo...oking thing at the end of the street that looks like a cheap, shitty version of the Sydney Opera House AND the Boosey Creek Tavern! For something that resembles a dressed up shearing shed the place can definitely provide a good time. With more memorabilia than you can poke a stick at, it already gives off the vibe of a man cave. Or woman cave, can’t be picking genders these days can we?! Anyway what a place, the standout was the meals. Started off with what they call the farmers bread, which is basically a cob loaf. Fuck me if ya don’t like cob loaf then sit back and take a long hard look at yourself. Parmis were delicious, huge too! Plenty of flavour and the service to go with it was a treat. We haven’t seen the place on a Friday night but I get the feeling they don’t do things in halves in katamatite, something worth investing in! Couldn’t fault an 8.5/10 Boosey Creek Cafe & Tavern

11.01.2022 Texas Holdem Poker This Sunday at the Boosey Creek Tavern, starting at 11.00am sharp. If you would like a game entries will be taken on the day. $100 entry fee.... 30 players entered so far. Fantastic prize money. Tavern open from 10.00am. Meals available between 12.00 & 2.00. If you ever wanted to watch some professional poker players in action, come down for a look. Action starts at 11.00 am should conclude around 6.00 pm.

02.01.2022 As we are slowly coming out of the Covid19 lockdown, the Boosey Creek Cafe will be opening on Saturday’s as of this Saturday. Trading hours will be 8.00am to 2.00pm. We have recommenced trading as a Cafe and can now offer dine in meals and drinks. Hope to see you soon.
