20.01.2022 We had Matt's R33 Skyline back at the workshop recently to install a Motec C125 dash and 1650cc injectors. It was ready for tuning and some extra boost just as the heat wave hit Adelaide. The thermometer registering a balmy 38'c ambient temperature as we commenced the first power run. First run at 29psi resulted in 564rwkw... Second run at 31psi netted 578rwkw A third run at 33psi blew an intercooler clamp. After that the decision was made to let it cool down, replace all the intercooler clamps and hold off until more favourable ambient temperatures. It will return early in the new year where we will see if it can make somewhere in the 590-600+rwkw range. Update: It ended up making 627rwkw at 34.5psi

15.01.2022 A very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all our customers. We are on a short break but will resume very early in the new year. In the meantime, here's another little sample of what we've been working on of late.

08.01.2022 A few weeks have passed since the Boostworx supported Grenade Racing RX2 hit the strip but Terry and the boys had a very successful meet, resetting a number of PBs. With the methanol fuelled semi PP 13B running a mild 40ish PSI Terry managed a string of 7 second passes, including a 7.35@183. This time puts Terry, Grenade Racing and Boostworx inside the Top 15 13Bs in Australia He also ran PBs of 1.09 60 foot and 186.6MPH!... Keep up the awesome work guys!

07.01.2022 We recently had Matt's R33 Skyline in the workshop for some upgrades. The RB25/30DET and GTX3584RS combination produces 533kW at the wheels at 26psi but with Matt keen to up the boost and see what it can produce at 30-35psi the decision was made to upgrade the ARP mains and head studs to stronger units and 1/2" head studs. The level of attention to detail makes this car a real challenge. But the finished product is well worth it! All that remains is to complete some running in klms, then we will hit the dyno and wind it up.

04.01.2022 It’s been a while, great to see Drag Racing back at AIR, we had a few customers jump at the chance to burn some rubber and belt their cars without the boys in blue spoiling the fun, instead we had the man in the red Andra shirt sending them home haha, It’s pretty hard to take the kids to child care with a back seat full of roll cage, but that’s where it’s at. Samir’s 1300 running 9.86, brother Sami in his 323 running 10.1, Karl with his Hectic VH running 9.14, and John’s VL o...n track for low 9’s but rolling off the throttle after the 1/8, working on start line grip and trying not to be sent home, still 10.0 at 78mph and the Andra man said enough, Theo had his VL out running low 12’s with convertor and gearing work to do, hopefully with some more events the track will grip up and the times will drop.
