23.01.2022 Rest In Peace Terry Goodkind. Terry Goodkind was an American writer. He was known for the epic fantasy series The Sword of Truth as well as the contemporary suspense novel The Law of Nines, which has ties to his fantasy series. The Sword of Truth series sold 25 million copies worldwide and was translated into more than 20 languages. To exist in this vast universe for a speck of time is the great gift of life. It is our only life. The universe will go on, indifferent to ou...r brief existence, but while we are here, we touch not just part of that vastness, but also the lives around us. Life is the gift each of us has been given. Each life is our own and no one else's. It is precious beyond all counting. It is the greatest value we can have. Cherish it for what it truly is . . . Your life is yours alone. Rise up and live it. - Terry Goodkind See more
23.01.2022 New Podcast Episode that looks about the importance and hidden benefits of asking for H.E.L.P Only 6 minutes long - I have learnt so much from my volunteer youth mentoring and recently I had an opportunity to work with a group of 15 year olds and learn more about their relationship with asking for HELP. I was amazed that many of them felt they felt like a failure if they had to seek assistance. It is really important as parents that we support and role model to our children... to seek help, whether it be at school to work through subjects that are challenging, social situations that are confronting or if they are feeling overwhelmed and isolated. I know I have struggled with asking for help in the past - but through a series of personal challenges I know that I could not have managed without the support and help of friends and family. If we can reframe H.E.L.P. then we make seeking assistance less about being incapable and more about receiving kindness and learning opportunities. https://open.spotify.com/episode/4jZDFafLi7K9Vt9SyqLlWd
22.01.2022 Your job is NOT to do what you are told. You are a unique and authentic being who has come into this lifetime to explore and express yourself as an individual. You have an internal guidance system that helps you find and follow your true north. Your true north is the direction and pathway that you are meant to follow to live a fulfilling life. You know you are heading in the right direction when you feel positive emotions. ... When you are repeatedly experiencing negative feelings you are off course. The worse you feel the more off course you are. Your 'job' is to find and follow your unique true north pathway. When you use your internal guidance system (feeling meter) together with really being aware of your heart's desires - you will live the life you are meant to live. Love what you do and do what you love. Be Inspired, Be Brave
22.01.2022 The societal system we live in focuses on finding us a 'good job' one that pays the bills and gives everyone a role to play in supporting a balanced economy. These things are important, however the starting point should be ensuring you know who you are and what you enjoy doing. It is an empty life if the focus is just working to live. Throughout school we are trained to conform. In the first instance, your real 'job' in this lifetime is knowing who you are, what you stand... for and who you wish to become. No two people are the same. The essence of who you are is guided by your heart. When you feel excitement and joy you are on the right track. When you feel negative feelings you are off course. Embrace your uniqueness, express yourself authentically and allow yourself to explore pathways that spark your joy. Allows remember to follow your own true north. Be Inspired, Be Brave.

20.01.2022 Peter Shergold wants the ATAR to be supplemented with a learner profile. The learner profile should form the basis of a digital education passport, which students could continue to curate into adulthood by adding new qualifications or experience, the review suggested. The report, Looking to the Future, said school systems must ensure students had highly qualified career advisors who understood the labour market and the changing nature of job requirements and could facilitate partnerships with industries.
14.01.2022 John Lennon's mum was a wise women. She knew that feeling happy is the guide to knowing if you are on track or off track in life. Life is not about suffering, it is about seeking joy and connection. Boosted love the beaming smile of the little boy in this picture - that face beams optimism, hope and happiness. That is how life is supposed to feel. Creating our own happiness is our self responsibility. It is a job that belongs to the individual. Happiness comes from wi...thin it is not supplied externally, it can be amplified by others but not sourced from another person. Life can be tough and challenging and it can be really hard to maintain our happiness. This is when we must acknowledge what is in and out of our control. Quite often greater suffering comes from trying to change things that are completely out of our control. When challenged the first step is to focus on what you can affect or control and take intuitive action. Our internal guidance system lets us know when we are on or off track to our true north. Positive emotions indicate we are moving in the right direction and negative emotions or feeling alert us to being off course - the worse the feeling the more off course we are. So switch on to your feelings and instead of letting only your conscience be your guide, enable your positive emotions to inform your choices, words and actions. Remember to aim for the feelings of love and joy. Be Inspired, Be Brave

11.01.2022 There are many people who struggle with the concept of asking for help. I know I did. I felt like I was being incapable if I had to ask for help. After numerous life challenges where I was reliant on getting help to get me through I learnt a very valuable lesson. When I was present with someone who was helping me - - I discovered the value of the time shared together and how a burden shared is a burden halved. - The joy that the helper got from helping and the apprec...iation I felt from receiving assistance delivered nothing but a positive experience all round. - Most valuable was that I very often learnt to do something in a new and better way. I have a number of friends who really stepped up and helped me when my daughter was critically ill and during that time I learnt how they did things differently (and often more effectively) than i did. During that time my friend Lara would give huge amounts of her time to help me manage the care of my other two children and also the care of my very ill daughter Keevah. Even in the darkness of that time she brought her humour and her joy and it lifted me up more than she will ever know. I learnt new ways to do things. Lara is pretty amazing at a lot of things and with 4 kids of her own she has taught me much about loving and supporting those in need. So if you think asking for help makes you seem incapable - please reconsider, as I know that the things you learn from those who help you actually make you more capable. with much love Kirsten Be Inspired.
