19.01.2022 ALL SHOW..... NO GO! The MADLX Torana was sent over to Stix at QuickBitz for some hub dyno treatment and for a tune on pump 98 and pump e85 before summernats and some much needed cruising. Not to be disappointed, The 408ci twin gtx3584 garret turbo combo punched out an easy 1000rwhp at the hubs on 20.5lb boost thru a more streetable twin 3" exhaust using Magnaflow mufflers.... 18.01.2022 Ryans Torana has been in self isolation getting the works done before it goes off for panel and paint. Full treatment included assembly and fitting up of the freshly powder coated kframe. Fitting up viking coilovers, bushes, tie rods, and 320mm brake kit. Fit up the freshly built PTC Powerglide using a tuff mount xmember.... Assembly and install of a Nextgen 9" diff housing with 35 spline axles, truetrac centre, hq drum brakes. Chromoly upper n lower control arms, viking shock absorbers. Supply and install 3" chromoly tailshaft and custom tailshaft loop. Chassis Extension Rails welded in Fitting up fuel cell in the boot with twin walbro e85 intank pumps. Complete LS Conversion, SBE 6.0lt with Warspeed Turbo Cam, arp head studs, head gaskets, springs & retainers, pushrods, trunnion upgrade,oil pump, timing chain, moroso sump n pickup. 17.01.2022 CHOP CHOP TUESDAY Just made a start on Lee's 66 mustang The 66 came in a while back for a pre inspection for Engineering after he purchased the car locally in Melbourne... ... Unfortunately for Lee what we found was just a little concerning with the whole rear suspension and chassis setup having been butchered in by a FOAM FILL TECHNICIAN When we say Foam.. I mean lots of it.. it was holding the fuel cell into the boot.. it was holding the rear tubs in with just seam sealer.. it was holding most of the rear floor together.. Chassis rails were bent and not parallel.. diff bracketry was welded in by a pigeon shitter Just lots of nasty nasty work... The upside is we get to rejuvenate this classic 66 mustang to the standard it should be with a whole new rear clip and setup as approved by the Engineer #boostedfabrications #boostedtotherescue
