24.01.2022 2020 was a huge learning curve trying to juggle running a business and being a mum, but here's a few things I've learnt that may help new mums who run their own companies. 1) Where possible delegate. There are some days when you simply struggle to put your shoes on the right feet, let alone think straight. On days like this, I'm blessed to have a great team who come to the rescue, so my number one tip is surround yourself with people who you can trust to carry out tasks wh...en you can't. 2) Forget that old saying, sleep when bubs does... When Leo is asleep, I jump in and do all those things that require two hands, like replying to emails. 3) Take advantage of technology! Anything that is voice activated or you can do with one hand like Whatsapp voice messages, theses are non negotiable 4) Know when to switch off. It takes discipline not to pick up your phone and check for messages, so when you're having family time, turn it your phone off. After all, isn't that what voicemail was invented for? Many people think more than 10 or 11 looks spammy, but Instagram wouldn't let you use up to 30 if this was the case. 2) Thou shalt avoid hashtags that cause confusion.
