21.01.2022 Did you know that every baby born at Baptist Health Lexington this year will take home a book? This morning, with help from Mattox Built, we moved 2,600 books (...thats 2,494 pounds!), purchased from local bookstores Brier Books and Wild Fig Coffee and Books, to Baptist Health. Lexingtons little ones can learn to love literacy early, thanks to Books for Babies sponsors, supporters, and our community. *Edited to note: Extra special thanks to Stan and Travis Mattox of Mattox Built for volunteering their time and transportation! Neil Chethik, Laura Blake Whitaker, Sarah Smith Chapman, Jessica Faye Mohler, Jennifer Hester Mattox, Erica Lynne Cook, Jayne Moore Waldrop, Brittany Jackson, Carol Gilliland Jordan, Marcia Thornton Jones, Kimber Gray, Constance Sletten Meyers, Gentell Esters

20.01.2022 When faced with our childs challenging behaviors we have two choices. We can view them through the lens of our own emotional reactivity, unconscious triggers, ...and negative bias/assumptions... *OR*...we can try our best to keep those things in check in order to best support our child (and save our sanity) by meeting the need thats driving the behavior. ***DOWNLOAD*** a copy for your fridge (or classroom) here >> https://parentswithconfidence.com/shop/ See more
