Ron's background has been some 30 years as an Investment Banker having started his career at CIBC in 1986 before spending the majority of his career with US bank Merrill Lynch working in London, Toronto, HK & Sydney. More recently he ran the capital markets division at ANZ and for the past 3 years with Chatham Financial, a risk management firm based in Philadelphia where he is responsible for business devel...opment for Australia & NZ. Ron has always been passionate about sport! In his 20's Ron played some 6 years first grade rugby for Sydney club Eastern Suburbs. Ron enjoys water and snow skiing and sometimes still competes in endurance water ski events. Ron is also a current member of Norths UTS Athletics club and competes at various Masters events. Growing up in an AFL state such as Western Australia, Brett saw first hand the sense of community and comrad...eship football provided. Sadly, Brett's experience is not the case for all young Australian youth.
