25.01.2022 Another installment of "little pearlers"... Sue - "Josie, have you learnt this dance?" Josie - "Oh...I don't know." Ula - "But you want a walk through don't you???!!"... Vicki - "It's just so fast...my brain doesn't work that fast!!" Sue - "Do we want to do that again before you go home?" Vicki - "What's our other option??!!" Sue - "There are 2 restarts. The 1st restart is...somewhere, and the 2nd restart is...somewhere else!!" (my brain had stopped functioning by that stage!!!) And....I think I am actually caught up now!!!! I'm sure we'll come up with some more in the very near future!

18.01.2022 Well, we certainly celebrated being back on the dance floor in a very Bright, Bold & Beautiful way at our social yesterday afternoon Along with a fabulous time dancing (including the odd interpretive move) we had birthday cupcakes for all the birthdays we’ve missed since March , the usual lucky spot and lucky door prizes plus awards for a couple of Little Legends . Best dressed went to the most beautiful woman himself along with the lovely Vicki. Ole actually made his outfit himself some 20 years ago Thank you so much to everyone who came along for a wonderful afternoon of fun, friendship and dancing

Jenny S - "I win!!" - she was the only one facing the wrong way!!!!... Having ascertained that the dance has restarts facing 3.00 and after which sequence... Sue - "So when do they happen?" DEAFENING SILENCE!!!! Tamara - "Um...when we hear them in the music?" Having just danced "Knowing You" we were discussing what to do next in the few minutes we had left - in the end decided to just do "Knowing You" again... Marg (a little flustered) - "Oh, oh, how does that one go??" Sue - "Marg...we just did it!!" Marg - "Oh, I thought it was a different dance!!" Narelle C getting her head around the timing of a coaster step - "Oh, it's just like throwing a tantrum!!!" Jenny S - "Um are we supposed to be facing the back wall?" (which she was) Sue - "Yes" Jenny S - "Oh, that's good! Just checking because everyone is facing different ways!!" Di C - "Gee, thanks for dobbing us in Jenny!!!" 02.01.2022 Had the funniest conversation in class this morning!! We were doing (what I thought would be!) a quick walk through Chain Reaction...then we got to the first restart (which leaves out the 4 count walk around)... Marg - "Wasn't that a restart or something there?" Sue - "Yes, we did a restart." Marg - "But we did 2 walks?"... Sue - "Yes, the start of the dance." (to which Marg still looked rather confused!) Kaye - "There are 2 walks, just different walks!" By which time I was in absolute stitches! So we did a more in depth walk through of the first restart... Marg - "Oh! You just didn't say 'sassy walks' before!" That was following Marg's earlier little pearler...."It's just so hard to stay in time sometimes"!!! I so love my classes!
