25.01.2022 Whip Crack’n Wade is loud and witty. He has a stage fright jiggle that always gets a giggle but mostly he is very brave. He loves to surprise his friends with his special whip cracking tricks and practices whenever he can. He lives with Betty and Leroy on the homestead at the end of the dusty track.

13.01.2022 So excited to announce Bootscoot’n Betty and Ranger Rupert have made it safely to Karratha.
12.01.2022 Lasso’n Leroy is the clever one and organises the group's shows. Leroy’s favourite thing to do is show off exceptional lassoing skills (otherwise known as roping), as well as singing and playing his shiny green guitar alongside Betty and Wade during their performances. He lives with Betty and Wade at the homestead at the end of the dusty track.

09.01.2022 We would love to hear about your favourite Australian outback memories with your family! Drop us your story below and bonus points for photos! In the meantime, Kerri will get the ball rolling! Her fondest memory is of the Nullarbor Plain and the Nullarbor National Park on the Eyre Highway, a place that inspired her writing. Here is her story: "The Nullarbor Plain and the Nullarbor National Park on the Eyre Highway have many fond memories for me. At times, I have seen this l...and very dry and dusty and I’d wonder how anything could survive in these conditions, and other times I would see lush green bush, brimming with life. I hear the echoes of one of my siblings or me saying, Are we there yet? Are we there yet?. We all just wanted to reach the Nullarbor and when we finally arrived at the border of the two states, I would be so excited and expect to see some sort of major geographical change. My thoughts would instantly bring my imaginations to a place that I would expect to see animals and lands that I have never seen before other than the zoo. To be honest, I was never disappointed, every one of these journeys, and they were many, come with their own stories and now looking back I can see It was these trips along with the ones I have taken with my own boys that I believe has inspired my writing. I recall one trip with my parents driving the long stretch which they called The Treeless Plain. Way off in the distance I could see the most amazing huge band of rain from the bottom of a long wide black cloud to the earth below. Immediately, I imagined God standing on top of that black cloud and holding in his hand a huge watering can pouring out the water as the cloud moved across the sky carefully deciding how much to pour on each area that cloud passed by".

04.01.2022 Ranger Rupert is a very good friend to Bootscoot’n Betty, Lasso’n Leroy and Whip Crack’n Wade and makes up the group. He always makes time to visit them at the homestead whenever he is not taking care of the outback and always brings with him a rhyme or two. He doesn't live at the homestead at the end of the dusty track, because the outback is his home and that's where he spends most of his days wandering and roaming!
03.01.2022 Here is a little introduction of the Australian Outback friends very special friend, Mr Will Burr the Echidna You will see him throughout the stories but sometimes, he is very sneaky and a little hard to find. So be sure you take a good long look at him now. Then when you get your book very soon, you can find him and point him out to your friends. Mr Will Burr shares tea with ants and can dig down deep, but be careful not to get close with no shoes on your feet. A spike in your toe will make you go ouch, and he might have a baby tucked up in his pouch. Yes! Mr Will Burr and Mrs Will Burr both have a place right underneath, that is just big enough for their children to sleep.
