Brandy if you might not have known is mainly fruity flavoured and each flavor contains differnt volume of alcohol, it is not a rule that has to be followed, it is more like a ...common and consecutive thing. Brandy can be Plum, Apple, Apricot, Marc, Grape, Peach and Pear flavoured. There are two main ways that Brandy can be aged, either in an oak casks annd left it to mature or use the Spain’s sollera system where thhe cask is changed every year. Brandy can be clear or collored, aging adds color to it. How to really drink Brandy? + NEAT, with the right glass and sometimes it needs to be warm + Cocktails such as Sidecar, Brandy Alexander, Brandy and Benedicte What is Cognac? 13.01.2022 What is whiskey? Ahh yes, everyone love a good whiskey, and I can’t really blame you because its in my opinion the pinnacle of spirits, especially for the gentlemen. However, despite the popularity in whiskeys, many people does not usually know what they consume before they start putting in their mouth. Whiskey itself is not that simple to understand, it is a distilled alcoholic beverage that made from fermented grain mash. The grain could be anything from barley, corn, rye ...and wheat (could also be malted). A glass of whiskey is ALWAYS ATLEAST 40% alcohol, so don’t drink and drive. Distillation This is simply a process to remove Sulfur-based compound in the alcohol which makes it easier and not so unpleasant to drink. Aging This process is quite self-explanatory, the whiskey doesn’t mature in the bottle, it does in a wooden barrel. The whiskey have to undergo a six processes method before reaching the bottle which are: extraction, evaporation, oxidation, concentration, filtration and coloration. Packaging The only thing that is left to do is put the delicious whiskey in a bottle than sell it more 10 times the making price. Ways to drink whiskey 1. Drink it neat like a fucking man 2. Drink it on the rock (add ice), ice melt down makes your whiskey taste weird and not authentic but who am I to judge 3. Drink with soda (coke), whiskey and coke are one of the most common mixed drink, however, don’t waste a good whiskey please Stick with JD and Coke don’t do Remy Martin and Coke, I doubt any bartender will even serve you 4. Cocktails, nice and simple classic cocktails 9 common types of whiskey 1. Bourbon: Make from atleast 51% corn 2. Scotch: Made in Scotland, ban be grained or malt, in an oak barrel for atleast 3 years 3. Single-malt: Made from a batch of scotch through a single distillery 4. Canadian whiskey: Make from corn and rye, same process as making scotch 5. Japanese whiskey: Made to mimick Scotch however have much higher standard 6. Irish whiksey: Make from a mash of malt, distilled using water and caramel coloring 7. Rye whisley: Made in America, 51% rye, sweeter and smoother than Bourbon 8. Blended whiskey: Make from diferent type of of whiskey and distillery Additional videos about whiskeys for every whiskey enthusiast out there!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cwFjhXC-qZ8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BW1te_miu5I Please like and share boozelightyear_ I would really appreciate that!!
