25.01.2022 We’ve had a fantastic Term 3 and ended the term with our Learning Journey, Interschool Athletics Carnival and a Long Table Lunch to celebrate the students positive behaviour! Wishing everybody a very relaxing and safe holidays

22.01.2022 BOOK WEEK 2020 We had an amazing parade of book week costumes at our assembly yesterday. Was wonderful to see everyone’s ‘Curious creatures and wild minds’. Our Book Fair display is still on until the end of the week, feel free to drop in and check it out and purchase some books!

21.01.2022 Dear Parents & Community Members, I am writing to advise that our school will be open tomorrow to welcome our students for the start of the 2021 school year. You may have seen Premier McGowan’s announcement earlier today. The Perth metropolitan area and the Peel and South West regions are moving to a 5-day lockdown effective at 6pm, Sunday 31 January, 2021 until 6pm Friday, 5 February 2021. Schools in these regions will be closed and staff will remain at home. Information a...bout the lockdown is available on the wa.gov.au site. Following this latest health advice our school remains open for learning and parents/carers will be able to drop their children at school. The safety of staff and students is a priority and extra cleaning and hygiene measures continue. The latest health information is available through WA Health Department. If you have been to a hotspot, you are required to self-isolate and have a COVID test. Through this Face...book mini-episode, Play School supports families looking for ways to acknowledge Anzac Day differently this year. To make your red poppies, all you’ll need is some red patty pans, yellow patty pans or paper, green pipe cleaner or sticks and a marker.

10.01.2022 WARPERUP Athletics Carnival We had a great day at our school athletics carnival in Pingrup last Friday. It was a beautiful sunny day and there were smiles all around with lots of great displays of sportsmanship. Congratulations to Green Faction who were the overall winner for the day. Our Warperup Interschool team will be competing at Jerramungup this Friday..good luck to all the competitors!

08.01.2022 A HUGE thank you to A Smart Start Great Southern and the Minderoo Foundation for their amazing and very generous Covid-19 packs for our 3-5 years olds in our community. They absolutely love them!

08.01.2022 CONNECTED LEARNING What a fantastic start to term with our students engaging in their learning at both school and home today. ‘Catching up’ with their friends and teachers over Webex and getting straight into their learning for Term 2. 06.01.2022 Albany turned the weather on for us today for our end of year excursion! We had a dip at Emu Point followed by a BBQ lunch and play at Eyre Park. Such a fun day celebrating all the students achievements and efforts this year

05.01.2022 GO WARPERUP The Borden and Ongerup students had a great day at the Katanning Netball Cup today. They showed an amazing display of teamwork and sportsmanship all day A big thank you to Miss Buckley for umpiring all our games and Pip Barrows for coaching!!

03.01.2022 CONTAINERS FOR CHANGE SCHEME Collection Bins have been set up at The Borden Pub Carpark as part of Containers for Change WA . Look out for some signs going up soon which will help separate the cans, plastic bottles and glass. Every item collected in these bins will equal cents towards the P&C which will support the Borden PS students. From October 1st you can also drop items directly to the Spencer Park IGA carpark in Albany in a bag or box clearly labelled with our ID number: C10260675.
