14.01.2022 From myself and my super pony Leroy We would like to wish all our clients the best for 2021 Im so lucky to be able to spend my days treating horses and bit fitting - getting the best from your horses with comfort and quality. ... Hopefully this latest border closure is short, and i can get out and about more this year. Im looking forward to what 2021 will bring. See you all next year Dani (and Leroy)
13.01.2022 So.... what is actually involved in a bit fitting Standard Ridden Fitting: Your hour long ridden bit fit starts with an in depth assessment of your horse's mouth. ... This is followed by observation of ridden work and a discussion of how your horse is working in its current bit. From the assessment and observation, a selection of bits will be chosen that will work towards rectifying any issues observed or aimed and improving your horse’s performance. You are then able to test the selected bits - with the goal of finding that perfect match! On completion of your bit fit, you will receive an email outlining your horses mouth assessment, ridden issues and bitting goals and outcomes of the bits trialed, along with preferred bit recommendations. There is no obligation to order a bit from me. I am accredited by Bit Bank Australia- For Horse Bits, I do not have ‘sales targets’ nor am I ever requested to push sales of any particular brand or style of bit. What I do have is great knowledge and in depth training, extra support behind me and the ability to get you quality bits at a discounted price. Price for a Standard Ridden Fitting: $100 Info on other bit fitting services to come Any questions or to book an appointment Send me a message!

03.01.2022 Anyone own a chronic windsucker? This is the damage that can be done. This horse has one one tooth right back to the root and the second is almost there too.... This damage was long done before his current owner purchased him and she now takes full precautions to try and stop the behaviour. These worn incisions not only effect the horses front teeth - ability to pick and the wear (or lack of) on the lower incisors, but also will have an effect on the molars and the jaw as a whole if not maintained
