24.01.2022 Time to book your spot! Jonathon Welch is back with us again this year and we are very excited about. We've added a little extra this year...... The event kicks off on Friday night with a PUBlic Choir event at St Ives and then the main workshops and concert on the Saturday. On Saturday Jonathon will run massed choir workshop sessions for participating entrants where you’ll be learning songs under his guidance, which you’ll then perform at the evening concert. Jonathon will also take a series of Masterclasses for individual choirs or singing groups. These can be from very small groups up to very large choirs. Each masterclass will include 45 minutes tuition working on your own choir material and the opportunity to perform your work at the concerts. You don't have to sing in a choir, in fact you don't have to be a singer...just someone who would like to give it a go in a safe and supportive environment. Enjoy a morning workshop with Jonathon in preparation for the massed choir performance at the evening concert!... Interested in a Masterclass session you need to book via the Murray Conservatorium by phoning 20 6041 4249. Places are limited with only 5 Masterclass spots available. 18.01.2022 To all choristers, singers, choirs and concert goers who supported the inaugural "Border Choral Voice" this past weekend.... THANK YOU The event has been a great success...Everyone who attended the workshops and masterclasses left having had an amazing vocal experience. ... Jonathon Welch with his humour, knowledge, passion, expertise and generosity of time, took almost 90 singers on Saturday and another 70 on Sunday and produced a "Choral Extravaganza". His dedication to providing an inspiring weekend for BCV participants will be hard to beat. Because of your support of the event, The Rotary Club of Albury North will be able to provide funding to the Wewak Street School Music Ability program. http://www.wewakst-s.schools.nsw.edu.au/home We hope BCV will become an annual event growing bigger and even better in the future.
