19.01.2022 Today would have marked the commencement of the 2020 Border District Eisteddfod if not for Covid 19 Lockdown. During my time at home I have continued to pursue my interest in the Performing Arts (with the mirror as my audience) and I am sure many others have too. If you have a performance that you would like to share with us, we would love to see it since we are unable to do this at the Stanthorpe Civic Centre. Here is my attempt - I'm not sure if this would go in a Vocal Solo or Choral section???

17.01.2022 The 2020 Border District Eisteddfod has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The members of the Eisteddfod Committee unanimously agreed it was the socia...lly responsible action to take, as we fully support the practice of social distancing to reduce the rapid spread of the disease. The Eisteddfod Committee is very sad not to be holding the Eisteddfod this year, but are looking forward to holding it again in 2021.

09.01.2022 Well done to these Stanthorpe Primary students!

09.01.2022 Apologies to anyone who had downloaded the 2020 Music Schedule last week. There were errors in some of the dates (they had not been amended from last year's schedule). This has been corrected and the schedule on the website www.borderdistricteisteddfod.org.au is now accurate. For clarity, Entry Closing Date is 27th March and Program Release Date is 17th April.

07.01.2022 The Border District Eisteddfod has a committee of nine incredible, selfless and dedicated women and this has been the case for a number of years. While there have been a couple of changes to this committee, the new faces have only ever been those of women. It is not a job that brings glory or riches but we hope that it does bring joy and harmony and that our community is a better place because we women do what we do.

06.01.2022 A fabulous opportunity for our region’s dancers.

04.01.2022 COURAGE IS LIKE A MUSCLE - IT GROWS WITH USE! There is not much that is more courageous than standing on a stage and showing your talents to the world! Be a part of the 2020 Border District Eisteddfod. Entries close March 27th. http://www.borderdistricteisteddfod.org.au
