16.01.2022 This week, our volunteers collected more generously donated items from Joshua Levi Collings (Rebuild Upper Murray) for our Fire affected families to sort and distribute and one car load has already made it to a family expecting a new baby 8 months on and while driving through the towns, many farms and houses lost are still no closer to starting the rebuild. We did see some sheds being built and the fencing rebuild is still in progress for many properties. If you would like some assistance with household items, please contact us at [email protected]

06.01.2022 On this week’s Better Homes and Gardens I’m taking you on an incredible tour of the Snowy Valleys region, discovering Tumut, Tumbarumba, Batlow and loads more. ...So as you can imagine, I found loads of awesome ingredients to work with. That said, seeing the aftermath of this year’s bushfires up close was almost too much to take in - the size, the scale, how hard our firefighters and volunteers must have worked. So join me and the whole team for this and a bunch of other great adventures on Friday on 7. #betterhomesandgardens #snowyvalleys #snowymountains #tumbarumba #tumut #batlow #trout #pork #chestnuts #supportyourcommunity #buylocal #destinationnsw #visitnsw See more

04.01.2022 Border Bushfire Relief would like to give a massive shout out to Border Express Truck Company in Albury, for all their support and selfless assistance with storing all our 950 pallets of stock that we have gradually taken up into the Upper Murray and NSW Snowy Mountains towns that were severely affected by Bushfires this past summer. Many trucks too and from their yard to our warehouse, countless hours of assistance by their staff and the use of a huge storage shed for 5 months has given us the ability to provide the support our farmers and families needed to move forward through this tough time in their lives. We are so humbled and appreciative of the support by one of our Local businesses within our community Thankyou Border Express https://www.facebook.com/pages/Border-Express/183228071687490
