18.01.2022 Update 7.30pm - The Barrier Highway closure is expected to remain in place overnight. The Barrier Highway is now closed to all traffic at the SA end due to flooding. Broken Hill police have also arranged closures on the NSW side. Motorists travelling on the Barrier Highway in the north-east of our State are advised heavy rains have caused flooding in some parts near Olary and Cockburn near the NSW border - please use caution if driving in the area, and do NOT attempt to cross flooded roads.
