04.01.2022 Last week our family was blessed to house-sit for friends of ours in the Adelaide Hills. It was the perfect re-set .... no computer or emails, no recipes to develop and photograph, no troughs to monitor or animals to move paddocks, no machinery to fix and no pressing jobs to do. Instead we had unplanned, leisurely days of doing not much. ... Sure, we did visit the beach and marvel in the green countryside, but other than that, it was an opportunity for us to practice just 'being' rather than 'doing'. And after 6 days, we all felt refreshed by our 'being' - adults included. Upon returning to 'Border Park', I've been reflecting why I was so relaxed during this week, and how we can continue the 'being' even at home - particularly in relation to food. Give me a thumbs up or send me a DM if you're interested in hearing my thoughts on how to 'be' in the kitchen and reduce the feeling of overwhelm and busyness. #borderparkkitchen #benotdo #selfcare #kitchenconfidence #busymums
