14.01.2022 Good morning readers, Here's this week's Border Times. Just a note on basketball, after going to print Friday's grand finals were cancelled. This means premiership winners are: Secondary - Murrayville, Junior - Murrayville, Women - Lameroo, Men - Murrayville. Also since going to print a decision has been made to push back the Mallee Football League games until May 31. This will mean a shortened season with 10 games and finals rather than 15 and finals. this date change is als...o expected to affect the netballers. In regards to bowls finals, the association executive are meeting tonight (Wednesday) to make a decision, but it is expected the rest of the finals will not go ahead. Also, with the tennis, officials are meeting today to make a decision. I will keep you updated as much as possible. If you have an event that has had to be cancelled, please give me a call to help get the word out. Likewise if you are still going ahead, please let me know as well.
